It's absolutely amazing for sub 50!That doesn't mean I don't think the CH is amazing.

She's got the Jack, jack, jack, jack, she's got the Jack.
My 2013 Jack Contraband Deal Shiraz should land today so that Sunday night with Thai will give an insight into this multi lauded wine. That could be your next Fo phone call discussion point Wozza.
Great drinking for you this week. Just need to finish it off with a Kangas victory tonight. I need Alzoam to get stuck into his reds after the Swannies lose.
Further to my review of the Yangarra, s you know the local sold out. I hate to mess about, so with the internet, thanks to my wine guy up there in Wozza territory, 6 are coming my way. It's really that good !
Friday night had me drinking sour orange juice unfortunately. Hmmmm.oh what a night!! A fantastic night with a fantastic wine, mount pleasant op and oh 2009, a delightful winners wine. How was yours beefarmer?

Aint really a suitable thread for this post but I guess this one will do - at midday Sun Jun 5 if you tune into Landline on Channel 2 there is a segment on Brown Bros mechanical grape harvesting in there Tas ops - might be worth a peek. I think you can see it on iview also whatever that is.
A quick grab from the show stated Brown Bros were just finding it impossible to find sufficient Taswegians who could master the art of using Grape Harvesting Shears* - go figure!

After sampling so many good Cab Sauvs at the latest Sydney AFF Wine Lovers Dinner this month, I thought it appropriate to circle back to one of my favourite purchases from VinoMofo last year to benchmark just how good it is:
the Amelia Park Margaret River Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

And you know what? It didn't disappoint. What a wine. On Cellar Tracker and Vivino I posted the following tasting note:
2012 Amelia Park Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve, Australia, Western Australia, South West Australia, Margaret River - CellarTracker
http://www.vivino.com/users/8818052/activities/27654910
"It's Cab Sauvs like this that give Margaret River the world class reputation it's got. The winemaker is previous Jimmy Watson Memorial Trophy winner, Jeremy Gordon. He's produced this Reserve wine from the finest 2012 parcels, adding a dash of Petit Verdot and Malbec for added complexity.
There's fresh picked blackberries, fine juicy plums, fresh cut mint, violets and aromatic spices on the nose. The palate is medium bodied and super fine as those flavours round out a clean and pristine finish with super-fine tannins. I wonder whether the extra blending was needed, as the Cab Sauv fruit is exquisite. A Wozza 95/100 (4.2/5.0) from me."
Such a fabulous (finely developing) wine ...
Has anyone compared the 2011 Shiraz and Cabernet to the 2012's? I picked up both the shiraz and cabernet for around $5 a bottle cheaper than the 2012 from the Fo (haven't cracked one yet). Always been intrigued to see how they compared.
