Knocked this off with a steak last weekend.

Under cork and wax seal, plus a very heavy glass bottle all seem to be marketing IMO.
Classic case of inflated RRP. Was ~$120 and I picked it up in a sale for around $60 just to give it a try.
It was a nice drop, but not for the RRP. In my view it’s on par with wines I’ve had in the $45-55 range. It didn’t have any depth or complexity.
Mrs H didn’t get too excited either.
In fairness to the wine and winemaker, this was about a week after we had both had bronchitis so perhaps the senses were not back to their best.
Red wine, heavy bottle, under cork with inflated RRP often means made-for-China failed export.
I have one or two of those in my cellar. Maybe they’ll get better in a decade or so… (probably not).
