Nice wines I have drunk recently - Red or White

I'll be there next year mate, any tips?
I'd get onto some local distributors and organise visits as that is the only way to get into the heavy hitting domaines..... Nev at Eurocentric, Rob at Bibendum, Patrick at Cellarhand, Tim at Negociants, Guardy at Andrew Guard Wines etc.
This is Mosel-centric but......
Last time I was there I stayed at Weingut Kettern in Piesport.....quieter town with a one Michelin Star joint called Schanz.
There is accommodation at Schanz too but I stayed at the fairly modest accom at Kettern which was great.....lovely family, Dirk Niepoort's son Daniel was working there at the time and a lot of the time I just dined with the family which was wonderful.
Staying in Bernkastel-Kues is a little more centrally located for visits and has more eating/accommodation options so that could make more sense for you.
Happy to throw some producers here if you'd like suggestions but I'd have a look at the portfolios of the distributors listed above too.

Another from Conterno Fantino, monforte d’alba. Nicely aged and resolved tannins. Yum.

edit: “The 2016 Barolo Mosconi Vigna Ped is another gorgeous wine in this range. The natural richness of Mosconi comes through loud and clear, but unlike most wines made from this site, Conterno-Fantino's 2015 is wonderfully polished and refined from start to finish. Ripe red and purplish berry fruit, wild flowers, licorice, mint and lavender build as this super-expressive, inviting Barolo shows off its alluring personality. The 2016 is just so phenomenally delicious." MW Wines - Home

The legendary Dr Edge 18 Oregon wines. Willamette is great but Chehalem is the star. Shame Peter couldn’t replicate the quality since.

First time trying Nick Spencer’s premium wines over two days. On the first night both didn’t show much. Had two glasses of each and put back in the fridge. On the second night the red improved but the Chard was still meh. Overall I’m not impressed. There are plenty superior Aussie Chards at this price range and for the Shiraz/PN fans Mount Pleasant Mount Henry is better and cheaper.

In Singapore with SQ I enjoy PH Rare. In the air I go Krug.
We had a Leeuwin Estate Cab Sav and my taste buds thought it was pretty good.
