Wednesday was a scorcher in Perth (and aptly the Scorchers won the BBL GF). Four of us from my tasting group gathered on the pool deck of Next Generation Kings Park for a "brown paper bag" tasting. You just had to bring a bottle that you considered to be interesting.

Until about 8:30pm when we had sufficient alcohol in the blood to be attractive to the mozzies, we moved inside and the wines revealed were...

Have to agree with the bottle - fresh vibrant wine with delicious cherry fruit flavours and tangy acidity.

Starting with the 2013 Yabby Lake... nice but perhaps a bit light for my taste.. Price adjusted I give it a very good.
