A bit above my price bracket but thought QF WP might like this

I've obviously been trained by my friend who works in Yalumba about their range, but I've not tasted one - pretty sure I didn't bring that bottle to our dinner.

2011 Luca malbec; Uco Valley. 47 year old vines, hand picked; C$37 Stunning ruby red out of the bottle; no trace of plum or purplish hues. Delicious aroma and mouth filling soft fruit. This is just lovely, easy drinking wine; no shouting, no 'look at me'; its on my list to search out again.

Drinking the first glass. It's beautiful. Dry but with a buttery flavour. Flavour improving as it warms slightly from the fridge.
