Part of the D pack Rochford flogged recently at significant discount, the most premium single vineyard there. Good savoury PN, took some time to open up but then was lovely.

Had this little number at a Sunshine Coast restaurant last night. Asked to be decanted two hours prior and it was smooth and beautiful despite being a bit too young.

My uncle in London pulled this out for dinner last night to share with me. I certainly was not complaining. Typical Musar drinking at it's peak but still plenty left in the tank.

2 x ‘13‘s here, a St Hallet Blackwell and a Rockford Moppa, both in a good place, both have many more years in the tank

Had this the other (first warm) night here in ADL with some crispy skin salmon and stir fried noodles with Chinese greens.
Didn't pay a lot for the wine as I purchased it during the recent sale.
Fresh, dry and crisp with some citrus on the palate. Something easy to drink with a simple meal whilst watching the MotoGP from Valencia.

Yesterday I met @Buzzard at penfolds for wine tasting and the cellar door manager Tamara looked after us and poured us a generous pour of the superblend. (Grange and 707 blended together) Can confirm it was sublime!

Had this tonight after a 3 hour decant. I'm recovering from COVID so the palate isn't 100%, but it's worth whatever I paid for it. (likely in a lucky dip/salvation case).

Not a standout, but still a decent enough drop.
