Nice wines I have drunk recently - Red or White

Age wise, wine is firmly in its drinking window. Nice tertiary characteristics with fruit still present. As a match, went fairly well. As for the shanks, they were good, but there's a reason lamb shanks is the classic.
Must be a western PERnicious thing…

Couple of drops enjoyed this last week camping in the Flinders Ranges

Only getting rid of the cheap lines under $10.Would think a few Lindemans would be kept. Then again for the last few years I have been in the drinking phase of cellaring and only a few favourites bought.
Though back in the day one of my good friends at Uni had a father that managed the Lindeman cellars in Sydney. Good discount was available.

Well, blow me down, a few scraps from 2020 down to 2008...

And some food scraps from Mark, the chef in our wine group, and in who's resto we spent from 1200-1700h today.

A big shout-out to @Daver6 and MrsDaver6 for their generosity in putting on this tasting.

A great afternoon!
