According to Urban Dictionary, FOB = Fresh Off the Boat

This is a loyalty programme I would join... me and my numerous cousins would be platinum flyers with Wog Airways ;) Of course anyone who is not of European heritage would be shot for saying the name... they'd have to stick to "WOA" ;)

Hope your right! Free On Board ....... does that mean the all new Mangan menu is free :D

Apparently it does. For Flexi passengers anyway, there is a food "package" included with the fare. For Saver passengers, not so lucky.

You couldn't extend the offer to paid Qantas Club members as well could you?
Pretty please.
If you do I'll fly Virgin next week instead of QF:!:
Cheers
N'oz
(Seriously congratulations on a very clever marketing move !Cheeky but clever)

I don't think they'll be doing that anytime soon.

However, you can still pay the $30 (I think?) to enter the new lounge. If it is as good as it sounds, I'd say its worth it.

I always thought it was too low a price for entry - but with this new lounge (and assuming other will follow suit) it really ought to be increased...

Not sure if this has been raised, but I could nearly always score a 4C or 4D before the changes, now it seems both 3 and 4 are locked out. Gold only?

Yep this happened a few months ago - somewhere in another post Virgin Blue/Virgin Australia mentioned that there would be preferential seating for Golds introduced.

Don't think it's official yet, but it's clearly happening.

Thanks for that. I wonder if it can default to silver if not filled??

Not sure quite how it works yet - but it seems rows 3/4 are gold. Once airport check in opens though it seems all bets are off! Whatever is empty seems to go to anyone!

Just checked in for tomorrow's flight, saver fare , got 3c automatically. So must be a gold thing. No complaints here;)
So much better than the other mob in row 20 all the time

Might change if/when they bring in Platinum. Easy to get front row when you're the top tier FF, but not so easy when in second place (or as SG with QF being third behind CL and WP).

Whats wrong with providing the highest level with decent seats, Thats OK, I will enjoy it while I can ;). Besides, (No disrespect to any members, its a shot at the QF system) WTF with QF they keep adding more levels just because more people get to the top tier, and surprise, surprise, they dont want to akcknowledge the loyalty. People should sit back and have a good look at it, they are getting screwed over in more ways than one...Imagine the boarding call (Not in the QF club though, because anyone under triple platinum gold plated with a twist wont be allowed in) Good morning, we would like to offer boaring first to our quadruple platinums, followed by triple, then double platinum gold plated silvers, then platinum, then.............What Horse ****!
