No Chinese guests this morning so we both went with the buffet rather than the menu hot options.The bacon and the Gloucestershire pork sausages were very good.
So although this is a very nice property and we had good Virtuoso benefits e would not stay here again.

Today was an easy run to the Hilton Reading so we were close to LHR for Monday's flight.However I noted there was a Museum just outside of Bristol that I thought might be interesting.Aerospace Bristol.

This is now the home of Concorde 216.The last built,the last to fly and last to fly at supersonic speed.this area at Filton was the British assembly line for Concorde.10 built here and 10 in ToulouseThis particular plane flew 18000 hours.

Our final night in the UK was at the Hilton Reading as it is not far from LHR and I got a good rate.But at checkin I got a surprise.

Basically all the bennies of diamond apart from the bonus points.However I made up for that by being able to sign up for a 2500 bonus for my first night and 5000 for my second night-tonight at Hilton Logan.It was meant for new members but for about 36 hours was available to current members.

We used our complimentary drinks vouchers for wine with our 25% off dinner which was quite good.Whitebait,margherita pizza and slow cooked beef brisket.I left my camera in the room though.

Monday and the short drive to LHR T5 to drop back our car.As it was mrsdrron's birthday it was only fitting we had Aadvantage awards on BA F LHR-BOS.This also meant we got to dine in the CCR.The menu.

I had the salmon and mrsdrron the crayfish salad.

Mrsdrron and her birthday meal.

For dessert mrsdrron had the coconut pannacotta and I had the Black Forest timbale.Both were very good.

Mrsdrron had a Chilean SB whilst I had a very nice 2006 French burgundy.
