Interesting that Business Studio (i.e. First) redemptions will come online as well, early next year.
That’s very good. I noticed they changed it from First to Business studio too similar to what MH and others have done.Interesting that Business Studio (i.e. First) redemptions will come online as well, early next year.

Either a lot of WY award inventory has been snapped up in the past week, or the QF website is struggling a bit. I've been keen to go to Oman for ages and spotted heaps of availability ex MNL next April (where I already had some flights ex SYD bookended with view to buying a cheap cash fare to Europe).
Multiple J seats were showing on multiple days MNL-MCT-MNL last week. It's very scant now. What makes me think that it might be a QF issue is that AC still has good availability on the dates I was looking at. Aeroplan points are on sale atm, so I might just go with that option...
False alarm. It was the QF website being temperamental. Multi city searches weren't showing the flights I saw the other day. However, plugging return dates into the front page booking engine still brings up results, but on the results page there's a new (to me anyway) drop down menu which defaults to only showing Y availability. J seats are still there, just a few more clicks to find them.I hope Oman Air didn't get overwhelmed by an unexpectedly high number of QFF members booking up all their reward seats, prompting them to restrict QF's access...
Is that the same issue as mentioned at post #22?False alarm. It was the QF website being temperamental. Multi city searches weren't showing the flights I saw the other day. I don't think there's much fear of that. AFF and other saavy travellers might take advantage of this, but until WY flies to Australia, the majority of the flying public won't even consider it.I hope Oman Air didn't get overwhelmed by an unexpectedly high number of QFF members booking up all their reward seats, prompting them to restrict QF's access...
Not to be confused with Amman (RJ) which coincidentally is also a more savvy traveler routing option.Heck i wonder if most people even realise where Oman is.
