One point rewards promo??

Just wondering if Velocity have dropped any of their one point rewards yet? It was a big fail in June and their website still says they will be out at random times "starting in August". Seeing as we are now halfway through August, it does look like their big promo has died a quiet death and won't be happening anytime soon.
To me, it looks like a big fail, but my family member who works in marketing points out that people signed up to the Velocity social media pages, refreshed them constantly and are still checking and actively watching for notifications and opening emails, so they are still winning on customer engagement even if noone got anything.
Makes no sense to me, but maybe I'm not their target market

The fact it's still there suggests to me they're still working on it, and are just behind (Remember, Velocity means Fast!). Whereas if it had actually "died" they would have just pulled the page entirely. Given the delay, they just don't want to draw attention to it by announcing it is postponed again.

From their perspective, they would have granted funding for it as a project from their marketing budget so while it can be cancelled, it's not likely to be done so quickly and then if it were they would be expected to remove the collateral entirely, as part of wrap up.

My guess is it's still live, but it's taken longer than Marketing "hoped" it would...

They just posted an update about it. It's starting soon but they're not announcing when, other than to turn on notifications

Ad has popped in in the App promoting the one point rewards again. T&Cs say they'll be on offer between 28 Aug (today) and 24 Sept.

They posted on Instagram before and implied it was starting very soon. I guess by Today they really mean tomorrow? They're definitely pushing the definition of "Soon" at this point!

Redefining "velocity" wasn't enough... they've now moved on to the rest of kinematics.

How are you notified when you get a chance from the queue

Asks if you want to proceed and the plane travels across the bar. I tried for the pods which were sold out. Ended up with this;
