The Oneworld page for lounge access is a lot better than it once was. If you have status or other programs from credit cards, etc then there is obviously more choice.Only 6 weeks to go to start Qantas Classic RTW business
MEL-HKG (QF)
HKG-HEL-AMS (AY)
AMS-HEL-DUB (AY)
MXP-MAD (IB)
MAD-HGK-PER (CX)
PER-MEL (QF)
My question is what business lounges may we access in HKG, AMS, HEL, MXP, MAD and 2nd visit to HGK?

Thank you I did not realize that as it is a Qantas ticket and not a Oneworld ticket would we still get access to Oneworld lounges? The Oneworld page for lounge access is a lot better than it once was. If you have status or other programs from credit cards, etc then there is obviously more choice.
In any case - enjoy!

I have had experiences similar to the one you described. Strange thing from my end though, I ha e called to make two changesJust made a (relatively) simple change to an existing OWA. I agree with the more recent comments upthread that South Africa agents have been better equipped with making changes without any problems.
Unfortunately they still struggled to immediately re-ticket the itinerary. All of them acknowledged the need to immediately re-ticket (there are a few MH flights on the itinerary), which is better than a year ago when they couldn't understand why.
I had to go through 5 agents until I got someone who could get through to Hobart for immediate re-ticketing. According to the other agents, they tried and couldn't get through via the phone to ticketing, which I translated to "we don't want to wait for them to pick up". To be fair, I waited around 10 mins on average for my calls to be answered each time, so perhaps the lines were really busy.
I don't know if it's still the case, but a year or so ago you were asked to input the PNR before reaching an agent, supposedly to route complex bookings to 'more experienced' operators.Wondering if QF realises you are calling about a complex itinerary or if your ticket had a strange point of departure, they route you to different agents?
I wonder which menu option it is for that?Wondering if QF realises you are calling about a complex itinerary or if your ticket had a strange point of departure, they route you to different agents?
I go through the website first and put in my PNR, it then gives me a code and a number to callI wonder which menu option it is for that?
For me I just go straight to the call centre.I go through the website first and put in my PNR, it then gives me a code and a number to call
I think this may be partially true if you enter your PNR, but I would have thought that I'd get routed to Hobart or Auckland for a complex itinerary (granted, anecdotally, I haven't gotten Manila in a really long while when calling for a OWA).Wondering if QF realises you are calling about a complex itinerary
No such thing as a "Oneworld" ticket. Oneworld is a loose marketing alliance of airlines. Some of these airlines cooperate closely and others compete head to head.Thank you I did not realize that as it is a Qantas ticket and not a Oneworld ticket would we still get access to Oneworld lounges?
Yes.
No.I want to make a multi-city flight for 2 adults and the website is useless as usual, complete with timeout errors etc.
Can I make separate bookings, then get them to reissue all legs on the same ticket by phone?
Not possible from my understanding. If there are website issues, is there any reason why you can’t phone the Call Centre now, and book the lot, assuming availability for the flights that you want?I want to make a multi-city flight for 2 adults and the website is useless as usual, complete with timeout errors etc.

Oh, dang.
Are they 24 / 7? Thought the call centre was only open atNot possible from my understanding. If there are website issues, is there any reason why you can’t phone the Call Centre now, and book the lot, assuming availability for the flights that you want?
Yes, they never sleep. They are waiting for your call. Are they 24 / 7?
Can you explain the purpose of booking dummy dates? I don't understand how this could be useful.Have booked following dummy dates to hold ticket but will change to April and June as soon as award flights become available:
