You're friend is wrong. OWE do not have access to the F lounge on JQ full stop..

Shanye you need to pass immigration to access the lounge. You are welcome to try depart the country and ask admission to the lounge. Both are fruitless.

We have J class lounges for domestic pax flying Mel to Syd.
