So let me get this straight. Even though I am a quadrupal purple blue red silver bronze green yellow platinum diamond elite to the third power with another oneWorld airline, Qantas aren't going to let me into the F lounge when I fly on a JQ ticket?

i got an answer, by PM (so not really at liberty to disclose) but will say it was nothing new, and anyone with a current gold or platinum card could achieve similar results by requesting another airline to match that card. (usually reserved if you wanna change alliances or airline FFPs)

How funny life is . A friend just gave me some advice about lounge access . He was saying that if i booked a JQ flight that left from the Int ternimal like a syd to Hnl with a stop in mel i would gain access to the F lounge as a OWE .

And yes reggis i told MEl_travller how to get one world emerald . After all im here to help.

I think your friend is getting confused with the fact that a QF Plat might get access (for the time being anyway) to the F Lounge if flying JQi but not a OWE as it's not a published benefit.

If you're on a OneWorld flight, sure, but as I'm sure you know, Jetstar isn't a part of OneWorld. They are however, a Qantas partner, thus Qantas Platinum members (who also happen to be OWE's) can gain access. AA EXP wont count in this case I'm afraid.
