Just booked 2 separate trips of MEL-BNE-AKL-BNE-MEL for 560 SCs at a cost of $1155. I'm going to overnight in AKL each time as I've never been to NZ and have some free night stays I can use.

2 months into my membership year I'll go from NB to WP for the first time in 6 years which I'm pretty happy with.
Hey @QF029 - how are you getting that routing, are you doing it as a multi-city as im not seeing it in playing

Where's the discussion thread @Danger?

It's also pinned in the QF forum.

Given my Cairns/Port Douglas holiday last year was a victim of Covid, the double SC promo was reason enough to book again.

All in J on points. Outbound PER-MEL-SYD-CNS and return CNS-SYD-MEL-PER. Transcons on the A330 as well as the CNS-SYD sector. 114k points + ~$250 in tax earning 392 SC with the promo for the return trip. Could have eeked out slightly better but it is meant to be a holiday.

Edit: I wanted to pa the taxes using a Qantas Pass but that doesn't seem to me an option for a mulit-city award redemption. I probably could have called up but decided my time and sanity are not worth the pain of the call centre. :(

Edit2: Obviously you need to be a PC or PC+ member to earn the SCs.

Is this the points for one way? I thought transcan in J was ~40k points.

I've edited my post to make it clearer. 57k points is one way to CNS. Most direct from PER is via BNE. No extra points (although extra taxes) to take the circuitous route I've booked.

Very possibly not the best use of points, but I'm points rich at the moment.

I apologise in advance - if I’m posting a query in this thread rather than the discussion thread. Working off a flaky internet in Nepal.

Wondering if buying a cheap flexible (say, BNE-LRE) and later change source and destinations, work? If yea, I will buy a few now and later change them as needed.

For those using the PCP method, this would be brutal and takes two full days.

BNExMELxOOLxMELxSYD-CHC + CHCxBNExMELxMCYxMEL-BNE

416SC.

125,400 points + $475.75

Assuming 1.5c per point (YMMV) this works out at $3.15/SC at rack rate, and just below $3/SC if the magic is still working.

So you hate yourself? Better to do a J run to NZ via a 1 stop. Around 1k. That's a really poor use of 125k points IMO.

MEL-BNE-AKL-BNE-MEL in J for 560 SC's. Leave am Tuesday return pm Wednesday = $1,161 + 1 night airport hotel $110 = total $1,271.

Will work the days in lounges = no cost.

Booked just now, seats still available.

Looks like MH are starting to populate their Deals page again, so I can resume scraping and sorting by QFF earn rate. Good to see some ex BKK and DPS options in the sub $2.50/SC range.

The top entry (PNH-LHR business return for 319 USD) is not an error on my end and is actually listed on the MH site..

But I can't get that pricing to show in the booking engine (even with a VPN into Cambodia) or on EF so it must be too good to be true.

As usual - all discussion in the discussion thread!

Is the site region barred? I cannot get it to retain city entry field. If I input Phnom Penh for instance, it disappears when I place my cursor in the "To" box and vice versa.
