So let me get this straight: you're equating me calling Tony Abbot sexist with rape, murder and child abuse
Comprehension is clearly an issue. I'm equating the term vile, which you used to describe Abbott, with pedophiles, rapists and murderers.
Most of the time he's wrong
Well in that case he will simply be following his predecessor.
hes not necessary. We don't need the damage he's going to cause.
And this is still inane.

Everyone can see you for what you are..

sticks and stones again... surely you can do better than that

Did you actually read what Skyring wrote about Julia and the Jesuits, and then my reply about Tony and the Jesuits, and then what Pushka wrote about his/her grandmother and the Catholics, and then my final reply where I was completely fed up with how the topic had been deliberately misrepresented? No - I thought not. Why don't you do a bit of research before making a fool of yourself .....

You sound like my 90 year old mother in law who hated Catholics just because.
.

This is what I said. :) And I will say it again.

I've never once listened to Alan Jones. Ever. And what exactly am I? Everyone can see me for what I am? You seriously wrote that. Sad for you really.

Having an Alan Jones filter (like rose coloured glasses) draws aspersions about your attitude without the requirement that you listen to him. What is sad is that you can't just say "Sorry Moody - I see now that your comment about Tony and the Jesuits was in relation to Skyring's comment about Julia and the Jesuits, and my scorn would have been better aimed at him."

But that wouldn't sit well with your hero worship of Skyring's impartiality, so instead you continue to paint me as the villain because in your mind I must always be so. How sad for you .... and the rest of us.

And here I was thinking you wrote this:

I said your comments were vile. You said Abbott the PERSON was vile. If you don't understand the difference then you shouldn't be posting on this forum.

If you think that Gillard is performing as a leader then it isn't my glasses that are rose coloured.

Hero worship? Good grief. Just stupid. Not a villain. Just misguided. :)

I said your comments were vile.
So you were equating calling Abbot sexist with rape, murder and child abuse ?

You said Abbott the PERSON was vile.
Indeed.

And it might possibly be that we have different metrics for "vile".

If you think that Gillard is performing as a leader then it isn't my glasses that are rose coloured.
I don't recall ever having said Gillard was "performing as a leader", whatever that is supposed to mean.

Great. Thanks. That makes everything clear, then. But just for the really, really dim people who may have accidentally stumbled into the room ...... what did I say exactly that reminded you of your 90 year old MIL? (and sorry for the unintended slight on your grandmother).

Yes. I save describing a person as being vile if they commit heinous crimes.

I say comments are vile if they are offensive.

There isn't a politician today whom I would describe as vile. Maybe Slipper comes closest.

Only if a politician committed a heinous crime would I say they are vile.

I don't recall ever having said Gillard was "performing as a leader", whatever that is supposed to mean.

That was moody I was referring to. Couldnt multiquote easily as I'm on an iPhone using taptalk. :).

That's either an enormous double standard, or you're incredibly hard to offend.

Clearly it's not the latter.

Uh huh, and what did Mr Slipper do to earn that honour ?

There is a rumor that this weeks polling is a corker. It is of course an unsubstantiated rumor at this stage.

Do you not see the difference between saying "I think your comments are vile" versus "I think you are vile"?

Hopefully you mean a corker if you don't support Julia & co; but I'm guessing you do :)

Do you not see the difference between saying "I think your comments are vile" versus "I think you are vile"?
Sure.

What you haven't quite explained is why your bar for "vile comments" is so much lower than "a vile person".

You gotta love Stephen Conroy - won't serve under Krudd.

This bloke is an A grade union failure and useless party hack. The sooner the ALP rids itself from this type of village idiot - the better it will be.

The better it will be for the ALP so I hope they keep him and Julia

Gotta love Bob Ellis
Skynews a minute ago revealed that Newspoll, out a day early (of course), has Labor with a 2 in front of it and Abbott pulling ahead as preferred Prime Minister.
It is certain its respondents’ average age has a 6 in front of it and O’Shannessy is therefore guilty of the equivalent of vote rigging and should go to gaol for it.
Morgan will show a better result, I predict, with Labor on 46.5 or 47 and women preferring Labor by 51 or 52.
I ask the Attorney General to look into poll rigging.
It is, I believe, a crime
