And by "everyone" I assume you mean the editorial staff of the Australian ?
Heh. Uhlman's idea of a "probing question" for a Liberal politician is what they had for breakfast.
I came where I expected to be as well, and in a similar position to where I do on the political compass.
But that's not where Labor should be, nor the Liberals, nor the Greens, on that spectrum.
Why would say that? Everyone knows you can't get a gig at the ABC without having the ALP photo in the wallet.
The placement of the parties on the ABC's spectrum is ridiculous. I recommend people look at politicalcompass.org's assessment of the 2010 election lineup for something a bit more realistic. It remains basically valid today.
Haven't read much of his stuff on The Drum, have you? Or is it because that he isn't as obvious as the News Corp in his bias?
Chris is a serious reporter. The drum is for uni students.
That makes no sense ... He writes articles for the drum. And being serious doesn't guarantee no bias. If I said to you that Tony Jones showed no bias you'd make the same argument as me
So that would be right up in the top left hand corner next to Medhead, Moody & badgerboi
But really you think you should be in the middle because you consider your views mainstream rather than extremist.
You're kidding yourself if you think I'm in the too left corner. Typical blind rumblings of your type.
Right wing nutbags are too wrapped up in their blind delusions to realise that criticism of the objects of their affection does not mean support of the objects of their blind hatred. That's the failing of such supporters too blinded by their own hang ups to see clearly.

Lol as opposed to the left wing nut jobs that think the whole world revolves around mediocrity and that the world owes them a living
Nope, basically where Labor appears. Not that I find myself in much agreeance with most New Labor policies. So that would be right up in the top left hand corner next to Medhead, Moody & badgerboi
By all means, quote some of my views that are "extremist".But really you think you should be in the middle because you consider your views mainstream rather than extremist.
You're the one who supports the welfare that I oppose. That makes you the who thinks the world owes you something. You might try reading my comments outlining my position in relation to pay tax and cap the phi health insurance rebate. I'm record clearly does not demand welfare. unlike you and tour right wing mates. As I said too blinded by the stars in your eyes to understand the really story.

Nope, basically where Labor appears.
Though where Labor appears on ABC's Vote Compass is completely wrong - they belong where the Liberals are, and the Greens belong where Labor are. Political Compass does a much better job (and appears to have a recently added Australia 2013 update):
