I paid medibank through AP Post Billpay page - got 1 point per dollar Plat Edge card. I did a small amount payment which registered as 1ppd, then I did the larger balance payment a few days later also got 1ppd

Has anyone tried paying for an Australian Visa lately using Paypal (+/- Postbillpay)?
I have a $19K payment to make next week.
I was hoping to give my Business Accelerator a last hurrah but don't want to end up with 0.5/$ as opposed to 2

Can you do a small payment first to test and then the rest once you see the PPD you receive

I have not tried PayPal through postbillpay but I paid using PayPal directly on their website for a visitor visa and got 2 pts /$1 on my Explorer.

Not for a direct payment but maybe for PostBillpay. Good thought-thanks

Thanks mate. I was looking through my statement from last year and i seem to have only gotten 0.5 points for my medibank premium payments. But I didn’t really have a breakdown of it. So could have been 0.5 points elsewhere. Will give it another crack.

As a follow up from this, I did indeed get 2 ppd for paying my medibank premiums via postbpay. Good times all round, while it lasted at least.

My payment to Immi using Business Accelerator via Postbillpay with PayPal did only earn 0.5 MR/$ :(. Appeared on statement as PayPal AP. At least there was no surcharge with Postbillpay.

post deval.. is this still an issue?

i just paid sydney water via paypal direct on their website and got the full 2.25 point earn.

so my findings (all payments made in the last 1-2wks).

sydney water via paypal= full 2.25 points on my platinum
council rates via paypal = full 2.25 points on my platinum
service nsw/car rego via paypal = 1ppd on my platinum

so for rego i'll stick to my visa

I just tried paying for NRMA insurance through paypal and i keep only being able to pay via my bank accounts linked to paypal, not via my default method which is my amex or even select any of the other credit cards. Is NRMA now restricting paypal payments to only bank accounts?

I paid in late Jan and no such issues

Have you logged into "MY NRMA"? Last time I paid via that route, Amex was one of the options (can't remember the surcharge %).
