Thanks Dr Ralph - I am across the WISH cards (5%) but could you point me in the right direction for the other cash backs? Thanks
EDIT - can see the additional 4.15% through Price Pal - are there additional cash backs? Does the 4.15% work if paying by giftcard?
cashrewards.com.au is what I use. But there are similar schemes.

Be aware that WISH cards are not being accepted by DM online today. Do not use them!

Bin 28 Kalimna available for $25.80 in 6 at Dan's - I remember paying about $29/$30 each historically on release so assuming this is good value and I should pick some up?
Dr Ralph - would appreciate your thoughts..

I think you are correct that it's usually around $30 on release.

However, discounts in the first week normally lead to a $25 to $26 price range. So I'd say that $25.80 is about normal for the discounted price.

However combine the WISH + cash back discounts and the price is closer to $22.50. That's a price point where I'd consider buying at.

Agree.

The Bin 28 (when discounted) is one of the few Penfolds wines I rate given the price point. FWIW, I had 2 bottles this weekend. Didn't bother taking a photo, but I can report they tasted good :p

707 and Grange are just silly now. Both are good wines, but there are comparable or better Bordeaux and Burgundies which are cheaper (even with all the taxes the Aussie gov puts on them).

BIN 28 was the very first decent red wine I first tasted.

Have been buying it for more than 2 decades. Never been disappointed to drink it, only disappointed with the significant price increases of it (and most other Penfolds) during that period.

I bought a bottle of 2007 RWT a while back. Does anyone know how long should I store this before drinking it?

I didn't get it. But it seems like good value, especially to taste the grange which is $750+ a bottle.

Good location too :)

Dear Penfolds Fancy Friends!

I didn't get the Penfolds invite - probably because I didn't make that Magill purchase! - but I would love to go.

If you have an invite and a spare guest spot, I would love to go, so please PM me.

Yours desperately,

Wozza

EDIT: Thanks to Dr Ralph who has kindly pointed out that as an existing Penfolds Friend I am entitled to book in my own right! I shall be going to the ball after all ...

Enjoy. I've just been seconded to a project which requires me to work on that night :(

Nothing to do with Magill; I've purchased and didnt get an invite.

Dear Blockers

I am booking my ticket (hopefully) tomorrow so I can include you. I am just waiting for Treasury Wines to fix a glitch that stops me from using the shopping basket. I will PM you when I am up and running ...

Alternatively, just use the link above if you are a Penfolds Friend (and if you are not a Penfolds Friend, register (for free) and then use the link, ensuring you log in to finalise the purchase).

Also happy to buy a ticket if you are happy to reimburse me the $100 fee.
