My thanks to Storyteller who managed to get me in last night! :mrgreen: Even though I arrived later on it was still great to meet some of the QF staff. oh and drink some fine champagne!
 
And I should say this afternoon, 443 is the 3PM Syd MEL

By any chance were you part of the duo who commented 'wow, look at all of the men lining up to meet JT'?

I didn't see too many female pairs at the event, and the two who made that comment made me giggle.

i think it well did make us giggle...cos at that point JT's sexuality had just been revealed to me,so there was the confirmation???.... meanwhile someone else told us the mrs was with the new baby....oh well, he's a nice man and was a bit overwhelmed by the pushy P1 types...

It was really great to catch up with everyone at the P1 event.

Fabulous evening and a special shout to AJ, Simon, Steph, Red Roo, Margaret and the entire P1 team for bringing together such a wonderful evening.

What a wonderful couple of days! It was great to catch up with everyone, & to meet a couple of new AFFs.

Big THANK YOU to QF, AJ, Simon, Steph, Margaret, Lauren, Amanda, RedRoo, Juliet, and John Travolta. And the whole P1 team.

The J upgrade for the trip home was a nice finishing touch.
 
Sounds like Qantas really turned it on. Looks like it was a great event!
 
I think the hotel security just needed to see that you weren't some stray wandering in.
How did the cool duck with the sunshades go with your kids?

A big win for my son, so of course yesterday I needed to get a giveaway stuffed dog for my daughter at the Conference I'm attending :D

He will be playing with Duckie tonight in his bath
 
What an excellent event. I didn' know any AFF'rs to say to hi to (is there a secret signal) but still managed to have a good time. It was particularly good meeting Amanda and Belinda from the P1 help service. They are lovely people and it made the whole P1 thing seem very human. They shared some of the bizzare requests they have had already (sworn to secrecy I'm afraid) making their professionalism even more impressive.

A thread on this theme would be very interesting? E.g. What is the craziest thing have you asked the P1 Special Services team for? The only difficulty is the secrecy...

Oi! You didna see the Pre P1 reception drinks & snack post! The secret signal was looking for other folk at Tilbury's across the road from 1730 & the group at Aki Indian -1st restaurant door about 5 feet inside the Blue foyer on your left. Or posting on the main thread during the event. A couple had those smart devices thatlet you check in with AFF on the go. We left the P1 function around midnight.

Look forward to meeting you next time Canny man.

It was an excellent event, wasn't it! Thanks again everyone for the company, and QF for the concept of P1 & the event.
