I have not thought about SC for years.

At SOME point Virgin will stop auto extending status! :D

Right now cannot see them tightening up.

For the Plat upgrades - I have 1 set which expire Feb 10th for some reason (even though my review date is March 31st (and that should be Sept. now actually). I then have another set that expire April 1st :/

If I redeem the Feb 10th ones before the expiry does the travel also have to occur before the 10th?

I believe as long as you fly within the eligible upgrade period (out to 30 June) you should be right.

for all 8 upgrades?
Can't see why not.

The upgrade is able to be applied to tickets issued and scheduled to be flown before 30 June - Choice Elevate and Flex fares apply.

So here's an example:

You have a choice fare that you book in May for flying in June. Your upgrades can expire in May, providing you apply the upgrade before they expire to fly after their expiry date.

You cannot use the upgrades on Choice and Elevate fares that you book in May for travel in July, only for Flex as the eligible fares change.

Thanks - I've got 3 eligible flights in the next few weeks I guess I'll give it a go :D

Had forgotten about these ability to use them on Choice upgrades until seeing this up to the top of the VFF forum. Quick call to the Plat line and bazinga 4 used in about as many minutes.

Now if only another airline could have their phones answered and matter resolved in about 7 minutes from dialing to ending.

1 year after the credit to it.

i.e. Cancel flights today for a credit and those funds are available until beginning of Feb next year.
Unless the booking was paid using pre-existing credits (from previous cancellations) in which case it reverts to the original expiry...

I have not seen that.

Your account can have several several tiers of expiry dates with the easiest earliest being used first.

With QF there wouldn’t be any upgrades available anyway.🤣🤣

Can confirm the comp WP fare upgrade from Choice to Business is still available (if you have the credits).
