Hi All,

My very careful flight planning has me 10SCs off SG. Balance shows 490SCs flown.

Try Mobile Check-In for a flight tomorrow, shows me as PS.

Everything else: Velocity Statement, Web Check-In etc, shows me already at SG ... I've not actually checked-in.

Is this a known issue of Virgin coming to the party too soon? Will I print the BP tomorrow (I always hard-print my BP so my jacket has my details in it) to find the warm glow of Gold or the cold, hard Silver that is my true station in life?

For once I have a bag to check, so this question is really intriguing me!!

Regards,

BD

What does your status say on velocity website? Its not uncommon for flights booked as a lower status to retain that status even after you've earned a higher status. You used to simply call vff and ask them to remove and re-enter your ff number on your bookings to reset your benefits.

Too late for tomorrow now, but worth doing for any forward existing bookings.

What does your status say on velocity website?

Website says Gold.

The booking viewed via Mobile site states silver; Website view of booking via PC (Mozilla) say Gold.

Yes, I'm used to the booking retaining status from time of booking (very common on QF for example) - but at least it's consistently wrong there until you remove and reapply the FF number!

Ah, well, whatever it will be a surprise first thing tomorrow.

Regards,

BD

Unless i've got this confused, you are actually still silver until you take the flight and have the SCs credited. Have i missed something?

EDIT: Oh, i see ... don't mind me.
