Priority Club 2007 promotions

Correct. However, you'll only get the 2K FF points if you make the 5 stays in the eligible time period for the promotion (generally every quarter they have a promo) and all stays have been after you registered for the promotion.

10K PC points is by far a better offer than 2K FF points, in any FF program.

You would be best to register for the Q4 Stay 5 Get 10K PC points now.

You mean 5 nights, right??? I registered for the "STAY 5, GET 10,000 POINTS" (7627?) promo back at the beginning of August. Already done 3 nights. Is it worth doing a mattress run for 10K points??? Would push me into gold, not that it means much. Spose I'd get another 2K for the Q3 Stay 2 promotion, plus the points for the room rate.

Conditions for the 2006 offer. I guess 2007 offer is similar, and all nights have to be by 30 Sept, as per the first post:

Terms: Pre-registration required. Pretty obvious number of nights from 1 July to 30 September 2007

Good to see you back Lindsay, hope all is well.

Unfortunately I just applied for the specials from the top of the page down (Page 1 of this thread), so by the time I got to the Stay 5 get 10K points promo I had already opted for the 2k miles - I will know for next time!

Also of note, if you register for a MILE promotion and have chosen in your profile to be awarded POINTS for your stays, you will not get the miles. So if you are registered for POINTS do not register for MILE promotions.

Wow, this is getting more complicated by the day! I guess if all you do is stay and collect miles it is pretty straight forward, it is only when you try to maximise the benefits that it gets confusing. Thanks for the tips.

Personally, I feel you get the best deal by registering for POINTS and not MILES. You can always go and convert your points to miles later, if you need to.

Sorry futaris, a slip of the keyboard. Yes, it's 5 nights, so actually quite easy for get the 10K points.

Depends on how valuable the benefits of Gold membership are to you. If you will be staying more than 5+ nights next year, then the 10% bonus points would help towards auto-qualifying.

I agree with Dan_the_Man about points being more valuable - best to earn and burn inthe same program though. For example (one that I saw this week), 90K PC points = 18,000 CX AsiaMiles. Not a very good exchange unless you are short of CX miles for an award. Wheras 90K points equals quite a number of award nights (minimum of 3 in IC's or around 6 in HI's)...

You have to do the maths and work out whats best for you.

Actually since the latest enhancements most ICs will set you back 40k per night - but the plus side is that you can sometimes get them for as little as 5k per night. :D

Promo code is 1977

futaris, you beat me to advising it here - I too saw it on FT and was busy signing up all the people whose PC acounts I control.

Actually, if you make the bookings online then it'll be 20K points.

Is this promotion targetted? None of the previous promotions mentioned on this thread or on Flyertalk have worked for me.

Assuming that for some strange reason it does work for me do the 20,000 points count towards status?
