You may find that you can get a status match on Priority Club, till Jan 08 if you have status with some other hotel chain... See the status match thread on flyertalk.
PC were happy to match my Hilton Honors Diamond status with PC Platinum. Just took a phone call to ask, then a fax of my current HH Diamond card and a few days later my PC account showed Platinum. Since then I have requalified for Platinum based on points earned.

JohnK,

See post 128 above. Also worked from Gold HH to PC Platinum for me. :D

futaris, where does it mention anything about the 10% bonus between those dates? The link you gave pointed me to the standard redemption page and unless I missed it in my quick read...

I got the same offer in my October e-statement, and it links to the same page. Perhaps they will update it when Oct 15 rolls around.

Wonderful for those of us who have already bought their 20,000 points for the year :!:

May come in handy for those contemplating attaining Platinum status before the end of the year. ;)

Just need to sort out exactly what is happening before 23 November 2007....

It might also apply to gifted points which can get you another 20k. Doesn't help once you've already maxed out the 40k though! :D

Lindsay,

Here are some new promos:

9184 INTERCONTINENTAL VISA OFFER
1971 BOOK ONLINE BONUS POINTS
1980 STAYBRIDGE SUITES AMEX OFFER
4970 CANDLEWOOD SUITES AMEX OFFER

Do you know of any other promos that are not listed on Radioman's FT post?

I expect you will find its not a PC Qualifying Rate, so no points or stays counted.

It posted as a "Non-Qualifying Stay" (after I bought some nuts from the minibar):

Non-Qualifying Stay 20pts
10% gold member bonus 2 pts.
TOTAL 22 pts.

Has anyone earnt any less points at a PC hotel?

around 100 has been my lowest, on an allegedely non qualify stay. I never figured out what the points were for. (I did later gets full points for the stay)

Are you meant to get points on a reward (Points Break) stay at CP? I not only got points but also got the quadruple points bonus as well:oops::mrgreen:

You should get points for any extras, such as room service, restaurants, minibar etc. But should not get points for the base room rate (since it should be $0). It should not count towards any "nights" or "stays" promotions or benefits.

Buy points now and get a 10% bonus.
Purchase points from 15 October to 23 November 2007, and we’ll give you a 10% bonus! Buy up to 20,000 points in 1,000-point increments, and they will be credited to your account within 48 hours.

The new webpage is up.

It says:

"Special Offer!
Buy Priority Club Points between October 11 and November 23, 2007 and automatically receive a 10% bonus on the number of points purchased."

I think I'm going to buy some points tonight. The way the current US/AUD dollar conversion works out, I think I'll get benefit from this. 4 nights pointsbreak if I can find an appropriate hotel for ~$A230

Hmmm....my base rate for the 2 nites was somehow calculated at $115...so I got poiunts based on this amount, and also got the "nights" / "stays". Perhaps, I should keep quiet...

Has anyone that was not targetted, sign up for the Q4 stay 4 get 10,000 bonus points promotion, completed the stay and had the points post?

Still too many variables in my calculations.

When you know the answer and you know that revealing the answer may hurt you but not help anyone then best to keep quiet....

I received an email yesterday morning, after making the bookings for the Kiwi Mainland DO, with a 1,000 points Online booking bonus promotion code 3195.

I was already registered, as someone posted the same promotion on this thread in August, but it is only valid for any bookings made in the next 72 hours.

I don't suppose this still works if you make a booking then subsequently cancel :?:
