I hope they have some more IC's, thats a gem when they make it on there, possibly in China. Business is slow there. The new IC at Dalian i stayed at a few weeks ago seemed deserted... then again it was only just open and i only found out about it the trip before when i was in the Shangri-la and noticed it looked completed. Also its off season for China, winter is not so busy the hotels tell me. (Atleast up north where it gets very cold)

I would like to stay at the Paris IC and New York this year. I have around 260K in poinbt and should use them at some stage at some of the better properiites around the world.

Has anyone had any luck getting reward nights for these properties. I am a RA, i hope that helps somewhat.

Cant comment about Paris but managed reward nights in NYC.
I am also RA, just try there phone line and see what they may be able to do for you. I would hope they would try there best for an RA.

Points Break hotels change regularly. You can check the current list at any time at the Priority Club web site.

One of the good things about this site was that people posted upcoming notification of point breaks offers so you could get an alert. The problem that I see with relying on the priority club web page is that you dont get any notification (like email alerts) so you often find that you have missed the good ones being available...

I managed to book 2 nights at Hotel Indigo Toronto Airport for 10,000 Priority Club points. Without the Pointbreaks I may have not chosen this particular IHG property but I have managed to save ~AUD260 in the process anyway. With this saving it is now possible to stay at Hilton Athens for 2 nights ~EUR230 (2 for 1 deal).

It was obviously too much to expect to get Crown Plaza Changi Airport on 26 December 2009 for 5,000 points. The latest list of Pointbreaks finish on 31 October 2009.

John, the FT thread has further details, its not a bad way of getting some good discounts, and often points are thrown in although dont rely on them!

Rather a nice hotel the CP @ Changi

Just catching up on threads but did others seel the 10k bonus points for 1 or 2 nights in selected IC properties ? i could not find any that were on my travels though.

Thanks Markis10. I was hoping to get a free stay in Singapore. I don't particularly want to risk ~AUD150 if there is a chance of missing out on PC points.

I can get Hotel 81 Princess for <AUD50. A real bargain at that rate.
