Priority Privilege worth it?

Its a voucher for $100 of dining however you cannot use your card with it, so reality means your getting $50 value.

But it will cover drinks as well whereas the card only covers food. I've sometimes used the $100 voucher with the card. You can order drinks, wine and perhaps a starter (to total round $100) then close that tab and pay with the $100 coupon. Then open a new tab and order mains with the card (for 50% off if there are two). It's worked for me anyhow. I asked permission first and the hotel was fine with it.

I like your ideas! I dont get the voucher and take the extra BOGO instead, to me its likely to offer a far higher return.

This is a great thread, I will know to be careful at renewal time and get everything in writing.
Sitting on the beach at the Intercontinental in Fiji right now and have found Priority Club to be well worth it. The $300 cost has paid for itself with the 10% off the best advanced rate and the 50% off dining has been a nice bonus.
If you do your sums and plan to stay enough nights at IHG properties, the card will more than pay for itself.

In writing? Yes, I tried that and no way. The guy simply said you have my number so can ring me if anything goes wrong!

Now I ask you........what could possibly go wrong? ;)

I took the extra BOGO too this year. But last year they offered me both! :)

Wow, I wonder why Intercontinental, a reputable brand, would allow this behaviour?

Thanks for warning us about this stuff. Maybe when the time comes and I get the call I will just not bother talking to them.

"Trust me, I'm a call centre salesperson" How could you not trust him ;)

Thanks again guys for the warnings

Ignore the salespeople, or should I say anti-salespeople. The program is great, and should sell itself, if you do decide to bite, just put a fake phone number in the application.

I have given up on all these type of programs. Have never realised any value.

It all depends on where you might need a hotel and how often, I have had up to 30 free nights from the one membership, with the vouchers etc often meaning my average room rate in Australia is circa the $100 mark. Coupled with the points earn of IHG rewards, cash back through Ebates and pointsbreaks, the value is pretty good.

Hey. I must say I. have. found pp to be really good, great savings. If you plan your bookings
I know that's not always possible. Yeah I'll buy again next year

I posted my two PP vouchers off to the only enquirer on Friday.

My apology to OP, for the late mail out. You should have them Monday or Tuesday.
