Presumably you get "enhanced" re-accomodation in the last rows of the lower deck?Any reports yet on what happens for people in upper deck economy who get a refurbed aircraft?

That's right. You get assigned a random seat down the back. Beware.
What else would you expect to happen?Based on actual experience, or just your opinion?

If you had an aisle you should get an aisle, if you had a window it will assign you a window.
Another assumption: You’ll get whatever is left over? Maybe not pretty. Or, get upgraded?Any reports yet on what happens for people in upper deck economy who get a refurbed aircraft?
No assumptions required. Another user has already given warnings of this in another thread.I'm making no assumptions. I'm looking for reports of actual experience.
100% will NOT get upgraded because of seating changes.Another assumption: You’ll get whatever is left over? Maybe not pretty. Or, get upgraded?
Edit: Can’t say that I’ve seen recent reports of Y pax’s seating re-allocations to date

You will be reallocated to a like for like seat. Just because you may be on the upper deck it doesn't make any difference, it's still Y.
And there’s actually a thread on this topic. No assumptions required. Another user has already given warnings of this in another thread.
Refurbed A380 seat choices in Y - be careful!
Thought I would share with you all this annoying first world problem...... I am flying MEL-LAX in December on QFA380 in Y. Obviously I had selected seats in the "mini" Y cabin on the upper deck. Anyway, yesterday when I went to look at my booking I noticed my seat selections had been changed to...www.australianfrequentflyer.com.au

Well I see you mob are sticking to your speculation. Instead of making false assumptions and personal attacks why not just answer the question or say nothing?
I see one person can answer the question, shame they had to be rude about it.
"You mob"? Anyway, you aren't being ignored so perhaps some more comments will come along that are useful.Well I see you mob are sticking to your speculation. Instead of making false assumptions and personal attacks why not just answer the question or say nothing? ...

I've got first-hand experience, flew QF35 MEL-SIN last Friday 1 Nov which was refurbished A380. Previously seated in 33A/B on the upper deck. Was re-allocated to 53C/D on the front lower deck. I changed it to an empty row further back. Platinum FF.
"You mob"?
Given the reduction in economy seats in minimal, the chance of a free upgrade is next to nil. If Economy is oversold, then upgrades will be given to those who put in for a points upgrade first, and then op-ups most likely in order of status, not where you were sitting in the economy cabin.
Not sure if you are on SYD-LAX QF11 or MEL-LAX QF93, but if your flight gets cancelled/swapped and you don't want to waste a day, I would push to be changed to the other flight to still get F. If you have status it would help, pending availability.I'm flying F to LA friday next week..... not so much concerned about whether we get the refurb now (thought the bigger screen would be good), rather whether it will leave, given the broken door incident last Friday and that they cancelled QF1 yesterday, and also it looks like the flight to DFW didn't go, presumably because there are some days that there aren't enough planes. Rotating cancellations? Fingers crossed that broken door gets fixed quickly!
