Some window seal that previously had an issue and is now causing the same issue again

Another one tonight. QF12 flew for about half an hour and we back in LAX.

Plane in trouble? Child in trouble? Dumping fuel over people watching from the ground? Anything to get a good debate started?

Given they were actually airborne and had to turn back it's almost certainly a cancellation. Crew will no doubt be timed out.

Yep - not sure where they found a Home Depot open that time of night to get a tube of Sikaflex but fingers crossed the second attempt is uneventful and they get through to Sydney.
