Qantas Adelaide Business Lounge

I don't think there are too many in SA. I did read of one in FB who went. They have their own business and seem to travel a lot for work. Interesting profile they have.
i was aware of one "of us" who I thought had dropped to WP

the group likely P1 are the pollies, senior public servants (SES) and others who do FIFO style work - or international jaunts several times a year

Well the Bus lounge is well and truly not til 2025
The NEW club lounge Opened

I’ll be there tomorrow Sat 16 Nov and will post a pic or two
Here’s some they prepared earlier!

I’ll time my next winery visit for mid next year! 😉

ET are truly full of it. From the article

A long sandstone bar serves up premium wine and beer including South Australian favourites such as Coopers and Penfolds.

I don't think the person who wrote the article understands what the word "premium" means.

@CaptJCool would love to see what these "premium" wines are. Given the J lounges are cheap as rubbish I assume it will be goon in the QP :)

I’ll suss out the wine selection

Perhaps
Perhaps they’ll line up premium wines as a lead up to the never seen before business lounge of Adelaide. (Livin’ in hope) for the inconvenience suffered over the next 6 months

Mount Pleasant and Dandelion all over the place, then.
Although on a serious note, they might bump the grades of wine and nosh until the new J and CL lounges are ready...

My take on "Penfolds" will be the god awful Max selection...

There are multiple articles and blogs - all with the same (presumably) QF supplied photos and presser text.

I’ll wait until the J lounge opens.

But, TBH the pics do look pretty decent compared to the old QP look and feel.

To be fair they're now stocking this local Brisbane beer in the Brisbane J Lounge, I'm not a big wine drinker but it's good to see proper local craft beer being stocked:

The dom J wines are IDENTICAL to the QF Club wines so
Perhaps as part of improving the customer experience they COULD improve both J & Y wine offerings

I was expecting Koonunga Hill....Max is a step up at least.

From the pics the lounge does look pretty nice. My whinge really was about the poor wines and the very shonk reporting by ET.

The Brisbane J isn’t self pour either. I’d like to think Adelaide joins the classy ranks like Brisbane.
That's why I go to the QF Pub at BNE.

And let's not mention OOL. That's why I fly VA to/from OOL, much nicer lounge all round.

Wines in Adelaide are self pour, drinking wine in the new QC is self-stand…….. very few seats as all are full or have 1 person occupying a block of 4.
They really need to break up the four seatings. While not impossible to have a large group, most travellers would be couples or even solo.
