Qantas apologises to frequent flyers with status extensions, lounge passes, points & more reward seats

yes of course, but that's not related to the status rolllover question.
Yes, you answered that before my comment.

Just pointing out that there is some flexibility in when you can take those LBs including deferring to a new member year - if you’re lucky. Not everyone realises.

I suppose if anyone has any personal experience as a P1, please enlighten!
IIRC the loyalty bonus is not included towards the P1 count, as is the same for the points club or points club+ 100 SC rollover. I am sure other P1's have made similar comments on other threads that selecting points was the better option if P1. I usually did not give 2 hoots or place any value on the QF LB of 50 SCs or 8000 points as it was insignificant. The bonus SC's may contribute to LTP however I am not close enough to the 75k SC requirement for the SCs to make any difference, I will continue to select the points option.

Agree with this.

Small caveat that there was an exception during the pandemic that LB's selected before 31 Dec 2021 DID apply to P1, but since then nope. This little bit is still on the QF website:

If selected, Loyalty Bonus Qantas Points do not count towards attaining or retaining Points Club or Points Club Plus, or unlocking the Points Club Milestone Bonus Reward. If selected before 31 December 2021, Loyalty Bonus Status Credits do count towards reaching and keeping Platinum One status.

tbh I had thought that had even been extended into 2022 (eg: 30 June) but I can't find a reference just now.

either way it was not exactly publicised much - certainly I saw nothing about it until after the fact.

Anyway, nowadays, the LB's don't count to P1, just to all status levels below.

I want to confirm if my understanding is correct.
My membership anniversary date is 1 July. I've got WP in my status period from 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023 which expired on 30 June 2024. All my status credits are earned from DSC flights. Am I eligible for the 500 Status Credit Rollover from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024 status period?

Yes, I believe you will be the lucky last group to (and yes DSC should rollover)

Membership year ending April.

100 SC from PCP + 500 SC from Platinum rollover already appearing on the account.

Once the 50 SC + 50 SC from green tier are added to the count, it is going to make for a very cheap road to renewal this year. Indeed, with not a single paid flight thanks to March's DSC offer.

+1, the expired SCs dropped off yesterday night some time> The 500 rollover was not there this morning, but appears tonight.

Same story for Mrs Pineapple, who now has 250 SCs rolled over to help her retain LTG 🤣

My QFF anniversary was April 30 too - they've congratulated me for them giving me Gold again - but haven't rolled over any SCs - Fockers!

I'm only PS with a Feb anniversary date and it took them until March 10 to credit the 100 status support rollover so yeah...can be delayed

250 SC rollover confirmed for the April anniversary + 100 SC rollover as a PC+ member. No need to call up as well, looks like the teething issues beforehand with the SC rollovers are resolved.
