Qantas bonus points not posting ( EDR CC )

It seems Qantas changed their merchant facility, and so all the card issuers are having to work it all out again. Have a look at the Westpac section of this site, same thing.

They have had plenty of time to sort it out. They made an offer, they need to comply with it themselves.

Looks like I made the right decision to put my Qantas Gift Vouchers on my ANZ card rather than the QEDRCC :D

Summary Since 14/12/2012VISAAmerican Express
Qantas Frequent Flyer points earned this period0.01000.0
Bonus & Promotional Qantas Frequent Flyer points earned this period0.01000.0
Points adjusted this period0.00.0
Sub-total points earned this period:0.02000.0
Total Points Earned this Period:2000.0

Looks like ANZ have no issues identifying Qantas purchases...

Edit:
As a side note, $1k spend for 12k in points (includes the 10 points per dollar Qantas Christmas gift voucher promotion) Vouchers to be used for business flights this month hence my tax partner (read as ATO) is going to help pay for my points / upgrade :D

Very nice QFF earn's when you stack some of these offers together ;)

After 5 calls and a bunch of useless agents on the phone I have finally been told my missing points are coming in the next statement, which is still a couple of weeks away.

WE SHALL SEE!

It's hard to be 100% sure, but I appear to have been credited the missing credited points from August-October.
Missing points from November still.

Just got my EDRCC statement and none of the missing QF bonus points owing from previous months have been paid and now they owe me even more bonus points from QF purchases on the new statement. No one at the call centre would know what is going on. All are totally useless. They make Telstra look good.

I could not recommend anybody get this card at the moment as it is just not worth the hassle......

damn!!! I am still a couple of weeks away from a statement, ill report back

After failing to meet all of the call back times that they set for themselves, Woolies/HSBC have finally stated that they have found all of my missing QF bonus points and they will be paid at the end of my current statement period.

It has only taken two months and more than 10 phone calls to get them to do what they should have done automatically in the first place. We will see at the start of next month if this saga will come to a conclusion (or start again as I have a QF purchase in the current statement month).

they told me that too .... but the point s still didn't come. I just got new statement 3 days ago. no points other than the normal monthly ones. I've had it

everytime ! and then endless calls to the call centre to rectify the siutation, call centre promising callback once the points have been adjusted (and never get any callback) - time to dump this card!

Another 20 or 30 minutes of my life wasted on the phone with them yesterday regarding missing points from QF spend. This is ongoing since November with approx 2 calls per month, every one promising to fix it. Nobody has EVER EVER called me back on this issue. I spoke to someone who claimed to be a supervisor yesterday who claims now that he is personally going to handle this case and promised I would hear within 48 hours , well it's 24 so far. nothing yet. I was outright told last month the points would be on my January statement but they were not.

perhaps it's time to get the scissors out... This is a good card, but when the service is bad with this one, I guess its time to kill it off

yes I am leaning towards bankwest plat qantas card now (even with only 8000 bonus points). ive got a balance on EDR CC so i might do a bal transfer which they have a promo on for anyway.

Another statement period goes past and the QF bonus points saga just keeps rolling on. Some of my missing QF bonus points have been paid in my last statement but the majority have not. This saga has been going on for over three months now and almost 20 phone calls have been required to get to this point. They are not disputing they owe me the points, we are finally in agreement with how many are outstanding, they are just not crediting them for some reason (incompetence?).

The incompetence of Woolies/HBSC is staggering. I honestly believe no person within the entire organisation knows what they are doing. Their 'service excellence' team cannot even add a few numbers together accurately (they must not have calculators in New Zealand). No one will take responsibility for anything, at anytime. It takes a minimum of a week for anything to happen and when it does it is not done incorrectly.

Yup once again a broken promise that I would be phoned back within 48 hours. 4 days later... nothing. They are bloody thieves.

Mine posted again fine this month, haven't had an issue at all on any month since I got the card, go figure.

I did a Qantas transaction today... Will report back soon once the statement is generated. Gee I hope it works!

Well finally someone called me back today. I was absolutely assured the problem has been resolved and the points will appear on my next statement along with an additional 1000 points as a goodwill gesture for my inconvenience. 1000 points? That's a pretty lame offer in my opinion, I think I shall switch to bankwest soon.

its only 1,000 points if they actually credit you, after all by the sounds of it they have promised a lot to you lately but delivered little to you recently ;)
