Meeting spot is at the International Terminal.

My (our) invitation seems to say that the meeting spot is at BAC Offices, which is at Skygate.

As I said, I've emailed Qantas Soc Media to confirm.

If you work at the airport, you might be able to go straight to the International Terminal as you would have all the necessary security clearances. But you would also have been told that relevant info, too (I assume).

That's what I would have thought. But under the details about level 3 it says "11 The Circuit, Brisbane Airport" which if you look on a map is at skygate!

See that makes sense to me (and it would be overall very much more convenient), but like samh004, the invitation I have mentions the location at The Circuit, which is at Skygate.

Which I also would have thought; perhaps we would have to sign in then be escorted / directed to level 3.

And therein lies the dilemma - there is a BAC office on level 3 of the International terminal!! And I'd bet a large amount of money that that's where we're supposed to go.

The whole thing is caused by that one line on the invite that lists the street address - which I suspect someone at QF in Sydney - who doesn't know BNE airport at all - has pulled off the internet by doing a google search for the address of BAC!!

There is a BAC office on the Level 3 of the international terminal, which is where you also get a visitors security pass... So my money would be on that being the correct location.

Finally got a reply from Qantas Social Media.

So for all avoidance of doubt, the meeting place is the BAC Office located at Level 3 of the International Terminal. As JohnPhelan alluded to, it must have been an inaccurate / unwitting look up by someone who drafted the invitation who isn't a Brisbanite:

The meeting place is actually level 3 in the International Terminal so no need for transportation – sorry for any confusion

Apart from that, other things about tomorrow that I asked about that may or may not be of interest to you:

• Cameras will be allowed (except, of course, where restricted due to customs).
• If you have any belongings with you, they may be able to be left at the front lounge desk. As a corollary, this means you should make sure your bags are "security ready".
