That menu is very decent and not least because there is not a plethora of chicken. One trans Tasman flight I had on QF the J menu had 4 of the 6 mains a chicken dish! Frustrating as I don't eat chicken. That menu actually looks pretty decent to me actually. Of course the reality vs the menu may have been something else.
I do not see the steak sanga and somehow feel cheated!

Same story in the J lounges. A couple of weeks ago at SYD the options were one hot dish - chicken, of course - and some cold sandwiches all of which were chicken.
Neil Perry, and Qantas, there are other meats besides chicken.
That is what a staff member alluded to when I asked why do they only have chicken? Because it's cheap. (no pun intended)Chicken is cheaper than other meats though
Menu looks decent! Any pics of the food itself? And the longest duration flight ever so far for meView attachment 266225View attachment 266224
Yes, 'Ask your friendly flight attendant (that knows absolutely nothing about wine except whether red or white) which wines* we have on board today'....Any chance of a wine list from that flight?
To be fair, I know nothing about wines either.Ask your friendly flight attendant (that knows absolutely nothing about wine except whether red or white)
Amen to that ...Mind you, these days I'm just happy to take the flight itself !
Fairly standard NP Qantas standard food seems to be back by the looks of it...And the longest duration flight ever so far for meView attachment 266225View attachment 266224

How odd- we at least got some mushy peas and onion relish with our pie the other day, on exactly the same route. Well, you would have gotten the nicer seat instead!
