Champagne is like pumpkin - overrated 🤣
Oh, as many on here seem to know by now, I’m with you on the pumpkin ;)

But champagne is a different matter- we’re currently planning our wedding for next year in the Champagne. I obviously love the drink but even more so I love the region. One of the most amazing spots on this planet imho. Totally love it there- obviously.

Each to their own, @JohnM thinks PER is perfect….. (congrats on your engagement)

I'll take those cheese and crackers anyday over the bland cheese and crackers that QF serves nowadays

QF5 SYD-PER 787 service around 7pm (a few weeks back). Same menu as I had on the QF9 leg to PER earlier this year.

Despite being disappointed - but not surprised - at the usual QF length of having the same menu, I chose the chicken and fish as per the QF9 flight (which I thoroughly enjoyed) to compare. They actually were quite different.
IMG_5405.jpg Usual PDBs then a drink service after takeoff.

Chicken was ok but quite dry. Not as good as previous samples.

I didn't like the look of the fish but it was actually good quality and very tasty.

Wonderful service from CSM Adam and the main FA on my side Jacquie, who secured me an extra wedge of cheddar when I told her it was a favourite of mine.

Very nice flight.

Yeh on the NZ flights that greek salad has been making an appearance quite a lot. Then flight catered ex NZ have different chocolate instead of Koko Black and different butter instead of the Pepe Saya.
Yes they have kiwi chocolate and hotel. Buffet style butter .
it’s a nice change up tho in the chocolate . Try something different . And butter.
All tastes the same . Maybe the pepe saya melts the butter when it arrives Nz so no point transporting

I don't think we have a thread for Premium Economy meals so I'll put these here. The bulkhead window seat (with the side storage bin) is a poor man's business class anyway.
