The revamp has not yet begun, unless you count the glass door to the emerald lounge being stuck permanently open....
which blew the nuts off the revamped Qantas lounge... that seemed the same as it was before basically.

Does anyone actually like the spanakopita?QF19 SYD-MNL just after Christmas. Nice crew. Cabin still with some Christmas decorations. Food a miss. Main was forgotten and had to be put together with bits from the other meals. FA apologetic. Meal service wasn’t completed for me for until close to 3hrs after take off. Not a fan of the tray, made everything seemed cramped. Ended up putting items on the side bench.
Not a fan of the pre landing snack, however was pleasantly surprised with the pana cotta.
First time flying Qantas international for approx 10 months after trying some other airlines. Not sure if I’ll rush back unless the price is more reflective of the product.
“Spanakopita is a delicious savoury Greek pie made of perfectly crispy layers of filo dough and a comforting filling of spinach and feta cheese”.Does anyone actually like the spanakopita?
Am hoping they change the international J menu soonDoes anyone actually like the spanakopita?

My kid loves spanakopita, but if they put that QF version in front of him when we’re en route or home from SIN in J, later this month, it may well cause an international incident. Looks awful.Does anyone actually like the spanakopita?
No, those Aldi ones are the good stuff! The spiral pie version. It’s more like a quiche/pie looking thing on QF.Are they the same ones as Aldi sells - given they serve their ice cream in AKL lounge...
The Aldi ones are in their top 5 best products apparentlyAre they the same ones as Aldi sells - given they serve their ice cream in AKL lounge...
