Qantas Business Class meals & menus

This mornings breakfast on QF409 SYD-MEL was fruit platter or potato frittata.
Kind of surprised the potato frittata came with a sausage and bacon to be honest. When i was offered fruit platter or potato frittata my first thought was interesting, full vego menu this morning.

Swimming in liquid from what ever the green stuff is!
But wasn't too bad. Served with warm muffin and passionfruit yoghurt.

I started a thread yesterday but in hindsight should have asked here. Any recent reports on QantasLink J catering. QF mainline looks back to normal but QFLink Y catering is apparently non existant at the moment. (Bne to Cns is the route)

That would have exceeded my expectations.

There is a regular poster here who flies (well flew pre-COVID) BNE/CNS/BNE so they may know.

I’ll be able to provide information after Monday as I’m scheduled to fly CBR-BNE-CNS in J on QFLink.

I’m not expecting much other than a slightly more comfortable seat.

BNE-CBR QFLink 717 morning flight last week.

I think NP has raided the frozen section of the supermarket.

Lamb party pie and quiche. Other option was a salad.

CBR-BNE QF1550 operated by QFLink this afternoon/evening.

My VGML was an apple. Thankfully the lead crew member realised how poor it was and offered me the cheese plate as well. I know it’s not vegan but I was hungry. The wine is a 2019 Angove Chardonnay which was vegan.

BNE-CNS QF1718 operated by QFLink on Monday evening. I suppose this flight fell within the dinner time band so my VGML was more substantial. A tasty curry with rice and green beans accompanied by a piece of focaccia, craisins and whatever the sparkling white was. I miss the Grant Burge Sparkling.

Sigh. Lunch on QF740 today ADL-SYD. Some sort of jaffle thing and a Lindt ball.

Bread with a side of bread!

I've had meals where the side of bread seems superfluous (and this is a prime example) but QF serves it anyway, like it's a rote action. Would be good if their offerings were a bit more holistically thought through.

Evening 737 flight, Kalgoorlie to Perth, tasty Duck Curry, biscuits and cheese and plenty of sparkling stuff nicely chilled.

Wow that's so sad for all the hundreds of dollars that you pay for J.

Are you allowed to BYO on QF (because that seems like a much better option to me)?
