Qantas Business Class meals & menus

11Jan 2025 QF 25 SYD-HND. Japanese set of course. Fish was just slightly overheated but edible. They have the singleton loaded too. And the brioche and bacon is not burnt for the very first time. Did not realise on this flight oat milk could be selected. Found out later after chatting with others. Can try to be more observant 😜. Service sharp and attentive led by CSM Laura. Things cleared efficiently. Tried the wine but did not enjoy it.

Unimpressed with more forced vegetarianism on QF596 SYD-OOL tonight.

19:20 departure but classified as a snack not dinner flight (whY got rice crackers and cheese).

Options were Mushroom soup or cheese plate or pizza. I opted for pizza which was cheese, pesto and sundried tomato. Bland.

Best bit was the koko black chocolate.

Glad I had a pastrami panini in the lounge.

Cost of ingredients for that probably <1$……which I guess to be fair is 50% more than the economy meal 😂

I was on the same flight and I was given 7 minutes with a cheese plate (or soup). It was then taken from me as we were landing.

Complaint filed.

I remember the 767 business class Melbourne to sydney you had to chow through your meal haha nothings changed !!

QF591 6am flight, good to see bacon on offer and not just vegetarian options.

Choice of Omelette with mushrooms or scrambled eggs with bacon, beans and spinach.

I ate the bacon and a spoon of eggs, saving room for proper breakfast in QF First lounge shortly.

QF145 SYD-AKL today was a choice of Curry Chicken or Lamb something (happily nothing vego).

I had the curry, came with a prosciutto topped bean salad (no Neil leaves), stick of cheese and crackers (hidden by the sourdough). No icecream/cake just more koko black chocolate but I was happy that there was Rośe for a change.

My flight back is a breakfast one, so I hope to not see any salad.

Yes but combined with a long weekend 3 night getaway in-between. I was going to be in NZ anyway just took a indirect route. I don't do pure status runs i.e fly in and straight out on same day.

Mid afternoon snack service on QF459 from SYD to MEL on Saturday was a choice of four cheese pizza, cream of mushroom soup or the usual cheese plate.

Haven't tried the soup and decided to give a go and it was very good although just a tad salty.

The Shiraz offered was delicious and CSM Rob was generous with refills

As an aside my seat neighbour had the pizza and it looked ordinary (even with a topping of leaves). As far as I can tell, it was tough as he had difficulty cutting it.

Continuing on with my previous post as I embark on my NZ status run...

Dinner was served on QF 157 from MEL to AKL and we were offered a choice of chicken curry with rice and asian veggies, braised beef brisket with roasted potatoes or a cold vegeterian salad.

Went with the beef and was not disappointed. Everything on the plate was good and the beef flavourful and melted in my mouth.

Has the 2018 Penfolds Bin 2 to drink and CSM was attentive and offered refills and other drinks.

Third flight on my NZ SC run and it was from AKL to BNE on QF126.

Dinner options were Fettuccine Alfredo with mushroom sauce, roast pork loin with potatoes and a roast beef salad.

Was seated in 7A and was surprised I still had the three options to choose from so went with the pork as I had not tried it before.

IMG_7083.jpeg

Not bad but the pork was bit tough but the sauce saved it. Salad with now some coleslaw mix with smoked salmon. Have to agree with another poster that the Greek salad was better.

Drink of choice was the Brokenwood Chardonnay which was drinkable.

After the tray was cleared, ice cream was offered which was appreciated.

AKL based CSM Glen was fantastic and he came around the J cabin and greeted everyone. His service was personal and felt warm and I had a good chat with him.
