Well, there's Orange Chicken, so I guess Tangerine Beef is not that far off...Geez, I hope so! 'Beef Tangerine' just made me dry retch a little bit
QF have never printed a list for J, mostly because they don't always purchase wine in the volume that allows for it to be done. In addition, wines loaded for a flight today might not be the same as tomorrow.Does anyone have the wine list for intl J on QF (SIN-SYD)?
Guessing there is no link to it?QF have never printed a list for J, mostly because they don't always purchase wine in the volume that allows for it to be done. In addition, wines loaded for a flight today might not be the same as tomorrow.
Whilst not a list, they have recently updated the IFE to contain a large selection of information on the wines that might be carried, although not exhaustive.
The experience was awful. Service appears to have declined heaps from when I was getting op-ups 10+ years ago. Supervisor spent the entire flight going back and forth chatting with 2DF. Not a good look.
I actually like the Lallier but the memory of Billecart in J makes me sad as well. And Bollinger in the Flounge- those were the days!I'll note that it's Lallier champagne - or at least it was when I flew up late last month. I haven't find this to be as nice as the Duval-Leroy they were serving for a long while in J. I still weep for the days they regularly poured Billecart-Salmon in QF INT JThe current Botrytis Semillon is very nice (if you like a sticky with your afters); near to Noble One good.

They did certainly do so with the introduction of the A380's. The lists had dozens of wines printed but it was only 5 or 6 available on any given flight.QF have never printed a list for J, ...
Yes, and I recall that, but don't think that was the type of list for the flight the poster was looking for. That was more a guide, similar to what has recently been updated to the IFE, but from that, you still couldn't answer a question like what wine will I get today here. They did certainly do so with the introduction of the A380's. I have memories of carefully searching for the matching offer ... an often not finding it!but from that, you still couldn't answer a question like what wine will I get today here.
May not look the best, but as long as you enjoyed it. Some of us can go a bit crazy over presentation as shown in a photo. It tasted OK, but I did not each much ...
I remember when it first came out that we said when you reprint it, please please please please put in big back lettering on the front that this was a selection of what might be carried, not what we carry today. The A380 is big, but not big enough to carry a cellarI have memories of carefully searching for the matching offer ... an often not finding it!![]()
I had the beef salad. It was very nice with tender meat:
