Qantas Business Rewards [Replaces Aquire]

I had an issue with travel back in April and it took two months to resolve.

Simple return MEL - NRT, outbound leg posted with no issue to QBR and my QFF account but the return on the same ticket only posted to my QFF account.

All online claim attempts failed with flight does not exist errors.

Web form for contact us had no response so two weeks later I tried again.

Finally got a call and after I explained the situation I was advised that a claim would be submitted - I provided ticket number, PNR etc.

'Crickets' for six weeks then out of the blue I received a call to tell mee the points had been credited.

Took me three attempts to claim missing points for TV. In the last message to them I cracked it at the lack of response and it was shortly after listed as 'Points for xx_ SYD-HNL'

Does the 50% SC bonus for bookings apply to Jetstar operated QF Flight # booking?

If not, I'm going to be 10SC short of achieving WP for a Europe trip..bugger.

So how does this work. Our business is currently on level 2. Our end of year is October 31st. From November 1st last year to current we have earnt 62,000 points. 100,000 is level 3. Why then does the home page state we need to earn another 59,000 points?

AFAIK, Only points from flights count toward attaining another level. Do you have points from other sources?

So I got an email about up to 15% off fares booked in the next few days including up to 5% off Red E deals.
Thought Great! I was going to book something anyway. Did a search and found the "selected Red E Deals" meant basically none for the Syd Bne dates I needed in April

I am on my way to level 3 this year if things go to plan. Can I expect more of the same at the Red E level 3 discounts? Anyone with level 3 have some insight?

We will likely reach level 3 too. I’m not getting excited.

New promotion came through this morning:

Thanks, your business is now registered. Anyone travelling under that ABN will earn 5,000 bonus Qantas Points for the business*.
Remember, to earn Qantas Points for your business, as well as Qantas Points and Status Credits for the traveller~, when booking your flight you must enter your traveller's Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number and business' ABN when booking.
Book via Qantas Business Rewards or your preferred travel agent.

So i moved up to Level 3 a few weeks ago. While my QBR earning rate changed the flight discounts havent. Still shows level 2 discounts.
I wanted to see what they were pre and post levelling up.
Anyone else have experience on how long before that stuff shows up. IM not expecting anything earth shattering. Just more curious.
I used the QBR contact us page but the response was unhelpful.

My account is L3

40 pts per 100
8% discount on base fares if it is an eligible flight (whatever that is)
2% off ready deals

I have never actually calculated the discount but through QBR the flights are certainly cheaper than retail.

That would be very difficult to do, as the discount is applied to the base fare only, not the surcharges/taxes. AFAIK, I've never seen an opportunity to view the breakdown of the fare calculation for QF, at least not through the Retail and Business portals which I use to book tickets, nor in the ticketed receipt.

The breakdown is certainly available on the retail portal but it not obvious where you have to click.

Here's a sample for a MEL-LAX round trip in economy.

After selecting flights, then on the next screen to the lower left there is an inconspicuous bit of text "Flight amount breakdown", click that:
