Qantas Business Rewards [Replaces Aquire]

Re: QF business rewards

ahh i have found it under Free Travel Report before i click edit button . Thanks alot nice to earn some extra points
If you book through the business rewards site you also get a small discount- the % depends on your level

Re: QF business rewards

I didn't receive the email but have now registered thanks to the information provided on this post I am now just trying to work out if I can take advantage of it.

Re: QF business rewards

I got it, but won't be bothering. I'm well and truly sorted for Plat and would rather be hanging out at the beach enjoying this lovely winter weather.

When you log in you get a little special that says...

Earning points and saving is now so much easier. Book here, or if using a travel agent tell them your business is on Level x and your discount code is xx_X

I wonder if you can quote that with Amex travel to get the discount applied?

Re: QF business rewards

I called them about it the other day (right on the 8 week mark) and they could see no record of it in my account. Gave them the title and date of the email I was sent as well as mentioning a screenshot of the registration confirmation page. Will hear back in a couple of days but to me it's quite clear: they sent the email, I registered, I earned just over 200pts with Secure Parking and I'm owed the 8k bonus pts.

Did you hear anything more about the bonus 8k points NoName ?

Havent heard anything as yet. I called again on Monday and was told there was a backlog of queries etc that they are dealing with which I why I didn't receive a response within the quoted 5 business days. I made it quite clear that this was an open and shut case really and that the points needed to be credited. Will call again at the end of next week if I don't hear anything by then.

Re: QF business rewards

Tried to use Business Rewards for parking in South Brisbane yesterday and it's highway robbery. $40 for 3 hours casual. That's why I don't use their partners very often.

Just called them again about this as the time it was taking was getting ridiculous. Wasn't rude but it was clear I wasn't impressed. Outcome is my 8,000 bonus points will be credited by the end of today.

Not sure why it dragged out so long for what was an open and shut case but I guess the end result is the same.

So points didn't credit and have had to call them again. Now being told I need to contact Secure Parking to get the bonus points. So let me get this straight, I receive an email from Qantas Business Rewards totally unsolicited and I have to chase this up with their partner who had absolutely nothing to do with the email? Has anyone else had similar experiences?

EDIT: Sanity prevails and the supervisor tells me they will credit them because the promotion was sent by QF. 5 more working days apparently. Not holding my breath.

Re: QF business rewards

Just noticed in the T&C's for the recent 50% bonus SC's offer (in which my wife and I partook):

The bonus Status Credits may take up to 14 weeks after travel has been completed on each Eligible Flight to be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership account.

Could the make it any longer if they tried? Why so long QF Business Rewards - maybe they think we'll have forgotten. I sure hope it posts much quicker than that :o

So what is the deal with people using the promo to retain (or even gain) a status level. Do the SC's post as per the day of the flight and QF pick that up and automatically apply the correct status (even if the status year has rolled over with a status downgrade), or do people have to beg, grovel and plead to get what is owed, or do those terms and conditions actually mean you may or may not miss out entirely?

The status credits are based on the date you fly - or finish flying if over two days.

If they take a week or two to post and your status year has ticked over in the meantime, you should still gain the status back even if it has dropped.

If it doesn't give QF a ring.

Bonus points have finally come through to my account. Hopefully the next promotion doesn't require as much follow up. Speaking of, has anyone got the bonus points for updating their details yet........

Re: QF business rewards

I just received an email from Qantas business rewards:

Earn 500 Qantas Points in 90 seconds

Simply update your Qantas Business Rewards profile so it's 100% complete by 5 Jul 2017 and 500 Qantas Points will be on their way to your account[SUP]º[/SUP].

Easiest 500 points ever :)

Logged in today to see that this credited a bit over a week ago for me. Good result after the last debacle.

Posted for me as well (24th August).

Got to love Qantas... apparently a Qantas flight (booked on a 081 ticket via the Qantas website) is not an eligible airline for earning Qantas Business Reward points..

Keep an eye on your statement.

I've had the same problem for our MEL-CHC J flights taken last Friday. It seems the "Operated by *blank*" is probably the issue....
