Qantas car or vehicle insurance, 20000 bonus points plus 1 point per $1 spent

First page of the "Get a quote" asked me to enter my name so I did that.
"We're having trouble loading your quote. Try refreshing the page. If that doesn't work please try again later or give us a call on 13 49 60."
Thats a no from me.
In reality I was never going to take the offer anyway but thought Id go look, but if the very first part of the process fails I surely not going to be confident in the rest of the system.

I tried online, but gave them a call went through the process to see what the cost came out at. Price is based on market value, unless you get it changed. I also got the same message above, but called them back again and got the quote resent via email which then worked fine. Suspect the issue is to do with logging in with your frequent flyer details to 'connect' them with the quote

I thought i would have a go and check how many points i would get for my car - premium was $888 which earns 5000 points for joining .
Premium a little more than current insurer.
Not a good enough deal for me - bonus is dismal .

Just got my renewal from AAMI. Over $800! An 18% increase!
Just checked QF and they're offering $728

I used to use AAMI, but after a string of large % increases across both house and car insurance, I moved back to RACV.
