Does anyone have the contact details for the company providing the chauffeur service in DFW?

Booked for tomorrow evening however, no contact received as yet. We are a party of 4 with 3 eligible for cars.......just want one SUV.

The whole no one talks to you process......is a real PITA!

This his is probably too late for you now. I had a similar issue and rang the Qantas call centre and they sorted it out

Thanks for the reply.

Sitting in the bar of the Ritz Carlton waiting for our car........received no email or call......they should be here in 30mins to pick us up.

The whole process is amateur hour -IMHO.

I've booked this service for tonight for the first time ever. Usually I get someone to drive me, but today's just been a mess, so I've got the chauffeur coming to pick me up.

As I understand it, it's a complimentary service...But is there some protocol for tipping the driver or anything. Normally in a taxi I just round up for convenience, but not sure what the deal is here. Any advice? Departing PER if it matters any.

AFAIK, there is no protocol as such.

Do what you feel comfortable.

I do tip, but some here does not.

It's a matter of personal choice.

Curious if anyone has a idea if NYC is going to be a port to get the chauffeur transfer from.
Have a Mel - JFK light via SYD and have booked the Mel transfer but it says its ineligible for the New York leg, annoying for a $9k plus flight

Also does anyone know the number of the QF chauffeur company used in melbourne, the latest i could book the transfer online for was 2.5 hours before my flight which is a 4am pick up, iv no interest in being in the Dom Business lounge a syupid o clock

many thanks

If you don't manage to get the number, they usually call a day or so in advance, and you advise them then what time you want pick up. The BNE company (Brunel) are quite happy to change from the booked time.

On my recent trip I scored 5 chauffers to/from various airports in Oz, DXB and the UK, and didn't tip any of them (note: none of the airports were in the US). There was no expectation of a tip nor any resentment or attitude when none was offered.

As legroom said, do what makes you feel comfortable.

NYC was on the original list and them removed without comment. My guess is that eventually it will be added but the timeframe is unknown. I'll be travelling to New York in June and I'm hoping it is in place for then also.

Recently travelled and had four eligible transfers only used two - never received any communication......both cars were waiting when required.

I have my parents returning from London on an F redemption in about a week on QF10.
Knowing they each have a 50kg baggage allowance (neither have status) and given that they've been away for 8 weeks they have each two 20kg-ish suitcases and two carryons. Is this likely to cause problems with regards to Chauffeur drive when they arrive at MEL given that these are the terms and conditions ?

Excess mileage charged at $2.80 per km. Maximum capacity per sedan is two adults, with a total luggage limit of two suitcases plus one carry*on bag. Additional charges apply if a larger vehicle or child or infant car seat is required.

Does anyone know what the charges will be ?
Are they entitled to request two limos instead of coughing up extra fees or is this not permitted as they were booked on the one PNR ?

Kinda strange how they set the MAX at two suitcases and one carryon I hardly have a "limo" and can fit alot more than that into my ride, especially if there are only 3 people in the car.

Keen to hear some thoughts on how to tackle this one, cheers.

I would have thought two limos would be possible.

This seems easy on the way out. You book two vehicles and when they ring and check a day or so before you let it drop that you booked 2 limos because of the number of cases and they may recommend a larger vehicle for the two to travel together. It worked for us recently.

But coming back it doesn't seem as easy to maneuver and so booking the two cars is probably the only way to be sure they can fit it all in as long as the folks are happy to travel separately.

Thanks guys. Appreciate your comments and suggestions.

Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, but I've looked and couldn't see any details.
I'll be flying in j from London to Sydney on QF ticketed flights, but there are 3 legs to the journey. The first 2 are on emirates metal, with QF numbers, connecting to a QF metal from Singapore to Sydney. The booking page shows that I'm only eligible for Chauffer drive at the London end, and not the Sydney end. Given that it is ticketed on QF from London, I would have thought that I should get the Chauffer drive on arrival in Sydney. Can anyone advise if they've had a similar problem or success on this route? Thanks

What are the first two Emirates sectors? There may be a clue there...

Thanks for looking into this: The first two sectors are LGW - DXB on QF 8010 (EK 010) connecting to DXB - SIN on QF8404 (EK 404) then connecting onto QF 6 from Singapore to Sydney. I'm allowed Chauffer drive in London to Gatwick, but the booking page advises I'm not eligible when I arrive on QF 6 in Sydney from Singapore.
Thanks for your help.

A word of caution - don't presume the car will turn up as booked at your hotel in DXB. I booked the limo pick-up around six months prior to travel date. I checked in MMB a couple of days prior, limo was showing as confirmed. At the appointed time - no limo. After 15 minutes, concierge rank EK limo service (EK provide the service for both EK and QF pax in DXB). This is where the real problem occurred - the stupid operator there said the car hadn't been sent because I hadn't given them sufficient notice (i.e., more than 48 hours in advance). Six months wasn't sufficient notice ???!!!

Of course, it just meant the operator didn't even bother to look the booking up - that must be the standard excuse. I've since been told by QF that this is a known problem in DXB with limo transfers.

In the end, not a huge problem with the transfer - I just hopped in a cab. What actually rankled was the lie about me not having booked it in time! Great tactic - just blame the customer for your own failings!!
