That is pretty normal, in my experience.
Guess your flights were QF (dom) ones?

One of my 2 flights with UL hasn’t posted in over a week now … SIN-CMB posted on 3rd day after the flight, CMB-MAA hasn’t posted yet …

I have only flown QF for years now. I would have considered Emirates if I could get DSC and/or upgrades using QF points using them.

Yes, QF. 😀

UL? Sounds rather inconsistent doesn’t it. ☹️

Used to very consistent - prior to CoVID. I usually fly this route a few times a year. Booking is made in QF, connecting UL for SIN & CMB to MAA. The QF segments usually post within the hour I’d landing and UL segments within the next 24 hours. But this time it’s different - one UL segment landed and the other hasn’t … anyways, not fussed about it … let it land when it does … WP until Dec 2023 anyways ;-)

Update : UL CMB-MAA SC just landed. Date of journey : 19/03, Date SC landed : 02/04 …

I made a booking and payment on April 1 with a PNR generated earlier today as a result of them "holding the booking", but the ticket was issued at like 12.05am on April 2.

Would that still qualify for double status? Only a Syd-Mel so not end of the world, but would be annoying to miss out.
That happened to me with last year's DSC promo - booked and paid ~ 11.50 pm, and the tickets came through a few min past 12 am. The DSC did post in the end, so in theory you should be good (though you may need to phone support if they don't...)

Thanks - the wording is the same for both the Australian and international sites:

Flight Vouchers purchased and redeemed for an eligible flight booking made during the promotion period will be eligible for the bonus reward. Flight Vouchers purchased but not redeemed for an eligible flight booking (for flights that are not booked or travelled within the booking or travel period dates), will not earn the bonus reward.

To me this means that the flight voucher has to be both purchased and redeemed during the promotional period. So my 18 month old vouchers from flights that were cancelled due to covid (HEL-LHR-SYD return) would not be eligible?

I've tried calling Qantas but can't wait on hold any longer :( So much for being platinum :(

Are you sure what you have is a voucher? They are usually either gift vouchers (which have never been turned into a booking) or customer care vouchers (which are usually given as compensation for some detriment).

Usually you get either a flight credit, or a travel pass, from your cancelled flight. The FAQs say a flight credit is fine, and a travel pass is also ok as it's credit held as a charge card.

If what appears in your bookings is one of these, it's fine.

It's a flight credit from a Qantas cancelled flight due to covid. When I view the screen I get this:

Flight Credits can only be redeemed at qantas.com/managebooking

When I go to qantas.com/managebooking, and enter the PNR, it tells me the only way I can redeem this is to call the Qantas office, which from Finland goes to the call centre in South Africa. Needless to say, I've wasted many hours on the phone waiting. both on the local number and on calls direct to Australia. The credit is around 4000€, 6000AUD. I've wasted many 100's of € on phone calls to Australia, just waiting, I run out of time before the call is answered. I've been chasing this on and off for 2 years.

Anyone used a debt collection service to chase a refund from Qantas?

hmm are you trying to redeem a flight (QF codeshare) from FInland priced in non AUD? flight credits usually are in the originating country currency, and this MAY be an issue (I admit I'm making a few assumptions here).

It does seem strange.

Flight credit is in euros. I'm trying to either use this flight credit for another ticket, exactly the same route and origin, or get a refund. The only way forward is via the call centre, but you can't get through, unless you wait on hold for hours, as many others have experienced.

For the DSC offer currently available on the international sites, does anyone see a restriction on members with an AU address, if registering through one of the international pages.

I made some booking in the offer that ended a couple of days ago, but new plans mean additional bookings need to be made.

I've read the terms and see nothing about address, residence etc?

What am I missing?

I am going to bet that since you registered previously under the AU promotion, and your QFF address is in .AU that the sweeps they do will take that into account, even if you register under the international one. I mean previously they just had global promotions anyway so this is a bit different (and seems silly anyway given they are virtually concurrent with just a week or so difference).

I mean good luck but I would no expect this to work for you, except in the instance of a IT screw up (which the odds are not zero of :) ).. and probably if you requested QFF to resolve they'd pick up on both registrations I would assume.

Still, you never know your luck in the big city. I guess if you have new plans and want to book and fares etc suit then go for it. I wouldn't expect a positive result though myself, but I am ever so conservative in these matters :)

Waiting for DSC for two flights. Hopefully they start posting today/tomorrow or early next week. Not that I need them urgently as I need to do further flying to level back up to Platinum.

Yea it s just annoying to have to keep track of everything with Qantas at the moment: partner sc posting, DSC posting, rollover, ticketed award booking, refund of cash (and or points) for cancellation, I saw an article about customers being charged twice recently... Everything involving Qantas requires constant monitoring. It's tiring.

VA post them same time inclusive as one bundle of SC's within hours of flying.

QF IT I guess that's challenging.

Having been around for longer QF probably has more legacy systems to deal with. Starting a new airline VA would have started with a much more modern system.
