Mine landed about 5pm continental European time yesterday. No idea what time they landed. I can confirm though that I now have DSC for my flights taken so far under the promo.
Hopefully as in the past DSC will post much more quickly for those taking flights over the coming months.
The first offer was, indeed, only for flights originating in Australia. However it was quickly followed by a separate offer including international origins. Your timing was perfect. Congratulations on receiving the DSCs.Also got my serve of DSC from my recent flight. It was a reward as a Point Club Plus member, single booking EU->AU that I cancelled and rebooked to get the DSC.
Maybe it was already clarified, but there were some post indicating flight originating from ouside AU maybe would not qualify to DSC, i.e. post 55. It did for me which is nice!
I only registered to the first offer. I personally doubt it was really meant to be limited to flight originated from Australia, the wording in the t&cs was not particularly strong to support that outcome in my opinion, contrary to the clear travel date, or qantas metal requirement. This is why I got into the trouble to cancel/ rebook the award (not in that order). Maybe at the end it was the dsc implementation that didnt support the ambigus t&cs..The first offer was, indeed, only for flights originating in Australia. However it was quickly followed by a separate offer including international origins.
Have received a note from QF advising that the return routing has been changed to AKL-BNE-MEL; which now gives me 440SC for the same money. Sweet!!After a bit of messing around online I was able to book a trip MEL-AKL-SYD-MEL in J which will net me 400SC for about $1200 (I could have done it for under $1000 but would have involved some rather uncivilised flight departure times). I frankly regard this as a bit of a scam but if QF are prepared to offer it why not take them up.

Hi guys, I'm fairly new to the whole realm of status/FF, but had a (perhaps naïve) question - I originally booked a couple of flights during the DSC window after registering for the DSC promo.
I've since had to cancel those flights, due to personal reasons but I received flight credits for these. My question is, will I receive DSC if I use those credits to book a flight now? Does it matter if I use the credits to book a more expensive flight?
Fantastic, thank you! Fingers crossed I can hit Gold for the first time haha!Welcome to AFF Rohan!
Yes, as long as the new flights are taken before 21 March 2023.
This is because the flight credit and any subsequent rebooking using it retains the original PNR (booking reference). If you book new flights that would attract more status credits, the DSC will be based off the new routing as well.
