Yep, Travel Passes with DSC attached were only offered via the call centre to customers proactively seeking refunds for bookings that were eligible to be refunded (i.e. Qantas cancelled your flight), as an incentive to not take a cash refund.

Might be splitting hairs, sorry :) but I know when I called, I didn't give them the chance to offer or not - I asked for "the Travel Pass, with the DSC, please."

Will 4,490SCs* in 3 months
Truly amazing, now that's maximising a DSC offer.
Heading to SYD in about an hour, this is my final DSC run to AKL.
Does flying to NZ give you more SCs that a comparable domestic flight, in miles I mean.
I read many fly to NZ for status runs.
Just interested that's all.

Usually, you won't be able to see your Qantas Points and Status Credits in "Your bookings" from your Qantas account after you booked the DCS flight. But today my Qantas Points and Status Credits suddenly showed up.

Does someone have the same situation as me?Screenshot 2022-08-05 234437.jpg

I think that has been there for a while. Those are the base SCs. My revenue bookings show it, and classic awards flights show "If applicable, Qantas Points and/or Status Credits will be added to your account*"

Cheers skip

From QF1 8-9/8 the pts/SCs posted within 24 hrs and the DSC within 48hrs for a total of 590 SCs.

Sitting at 1388sc, still waiting for my ORC of 40 + 40 to be applied.
Sent email last Thursday, called this Tuesday to be told no record of email.
Re-sent, and this time I did get an "auto reply" email.
Guess the count starts from Tuesday now.....

I had by QFF WP pack arrive in the mail yesterday about 3 weeks after I qualified. They were smart enough not to send me my SG pack that I qualified for a week earlier. The extra bag tag would have been handy.

When you requalify I don’t think they send bag tags every year anyway. So even if they had sent you a new SG card it may not have come with any bag tags. Or were you PS levelling up to SG and WP?

I was lifetime silver (otherwise bronze).

If you level up to higher status you get a new membership card and a couple of q-tags for your bags and a marketing spiel about how great your new status is.
They enhanced the packs to only include 1 tag now. This happened after they resumed sending tags out after they paused sending them out in 2020.

I called again today regarding my ORC as it had been a week since email sent.
Spoke to the lovely Unis, and she said I can fix that now for you.....
5 minutes later my extra 40SC added to my account, and now moved to Platinum, thanks to the DSC offer and cheap NZ flights.
$2.15 per SC.

As PC, I have SYD-MEL-PER booked in J, with DSC expecting 96 credits (16 + 32 * 2).
I want to shift this to SYD-MEL on one day, then keep the MEL-PER two days later.
I am eager to retain the DSC PNR, would anyone be aware if I call if it can be converted into what is effectively a multi-city booking rather than a connecting flight? Or am I better off booking the SYD-MEL and then asking them to just change the DSC booking to MEL-PER, forgoing the 16 scs?
(Adding an extra MEL-SYD to do SYD-MEL-SYD-MEL-PER has crossed my mind but may not be palatable).
