Re: Check you statement for correct points given. 1 point per $1 spent.

Has anyone had any luck with annual fee waivers? My anniversary date is coming up shortly, I've been extremely happy with the bonus, the earn and exceptional customer service. I may stick around, but if I have another option in my wallet that costs less I find it hard to justify.

Re: Check you statement for correct points given. 1 point per $1 spent.

If you go onto bpay.com and type in the biller code you can see who accepts credit cards. If they accept credit cards then it's treated as a purchase. You can use the WWEDRCC or the Citibank Emirates to do a bpay payment and I have before.

So does that mean that you can pay your 28Degrees Mastercard bill via BPay and earn QFF points on the WWEDRCC? Sounds too good to be true!

I cancelled mine via secure email. The account was closed the next day. No email, no phone call from them, which is fine by me. I have far too many CCs, one less now.

it likely is
most, ?all, payments like this are classed as cash advances and as such attract no points
I think what is being discussed is in a few parts:
1) which banks/cards give points for Bpay..answer is not all of them
2) which transactions are then able to be paid by Bpay...answer is not all of them
3) Which of these transactions are classified as cash advances and not eligible for points

Re: Check you statement for correct points given. 1 point per $1 spent.

Got the card finally on 3 January, haven't use it since activation. Checked QFF today and received 5000 points on 2nd January. :):)

is the 30K points offer still going? doesn't seem to mention it on the website...

Re: Check you statement for correct points given. 1 point per $1 spent.

Can't be done. Nice idea though.

Re: Check you statement for correct points given. 1 point per $1 spent.

I got my card a few days after new year but fortunately saw 5000 points credited to my account. I was promised in an email by the rep that I would still be eligible for the 5 months of 5000 pts/month despite receiving the card in 2013. So today I see that 8 pts has been credited from the one transaction i did in January, but no 5000 pts.

Can anyone tell me whether the 5000 pt bonus is being given to others as a separate transfer, or all as one transfer each month along with any other points earned? Thanks.

Done as a separate credit each month.

Mine were usually given on the same day.

Things may have changed now, as I cancelled it last month. Already got all my bonus points from them, plus bpay is excluded.

I'm in the same boat - applied end of December, and received my card along with first 5000pts at the start of Jan.
I spoke with QSCU this morning and they told me they are experiencing some delays presently, but my 5000 bonus points for January should be credited mid month (Feb). I have already been credited my spend points for Jan.

Re: Check you statement for correct points given. 1 point per $1 spent.

Has anyone used the Travel Insurance for this card yet? If so, how did you find dealing with Alliance?

Re: Check you statement for correct points given. 1 point per $1 spent.

For anyone wondering about points not posting this month, an email from a rep:

"We are currently experiencing system error.
You will receive Qantas points in March’12 for both Jan’12 & Feb’12 provided you make eligible purchases.

Sorry for the inconvenience."

Re: Check you statement for correct points given. 1 point per $1 spent.

Cancelled before the due date for the annual fee. Sent email via internet banking that I was after fee waiver or Bonus FF points - call back said no go. Hope they run the bonus points again as the internet banking and service is fantastic. Approx $15000 through the card in the 12mths.

Re: Check you statement for correct points given. 1 point per $1 spent.

I was hoping for the same deejo77 as I like the card and the service provided.
