And more from JR on FFA.
Bit of engine damage on the 737.

That is expensive damage to both aircraft - one has to ask what else was damaged

Monday 14 November sees QF426, the 1100 (amended it appears by ATC to '1101') MEL - SYD having taken off at 1201 for an expected 1258 hours, 33 minute tardy arrival for B738 VH-VXU.
QF2190 from SYD to MRZ has been delayed in its departure from 'high noon' (1200) to an expected, unusual and probably ATC-allocated 'exact' time of 1314. In theory these exact times are a good idea, but in practice they appear to rarely be adhered to.
As far as I am aware, ATC does not amend (intentionally) ETD's. They also don't allocate 'exact' times for departure...
VH-YQU does not seem to have operated any flights since yesterday.
What was the registration 'number' of the damaged B738? Is it (as expected) inoperable today?
A bit of info about the 737 here, but no rego details: Qantas confirms Boeing 737-800 damaged in Brisbane storms | Australian AviationThank you again FlyboyAl.
The B717 damaged in BNE, VH-YQU had yesterday come in from ASP. This morning, Monday 14 November 2016, it appears as if it was meant to operate QF1780, the 0900 hours from BNE to the lovely shortened ISA, but perhaps not unexpectedly in view of the damage, that flight has been delayed until an expected 1225 hours departure ( a few minutes ago). VH-YQU does not seem to have operated any flights since yesterday.

Meanwhile on Sunday 13 November the delayed QF20 that was meant to depart at 2355 instead did so from MNL at 0037 hours on Monday 14, arriving SYD at 1119, 19 minutes late. QF20 on Monday 14 then departed SYD at 1300 hours, 35 minutes late and is expected to arrive 25 minutes late at 1800 early this evening MNL time.
On Monday 14, A388 VH-OQL on the 1115 MEL - LAX (QF93) took off at 1248. Arrival should be about 49 minutes late, same day, at 0724 hours.
Seems a fair question.Seriously..?

Bit of bog, some aircraft duct tape and should be right to go...
