Qantas disguises first class seats as $20 ‘cabin in the clouds’ on Airbnb

Hey team,

Like many, discovered this thread thanks to Qantas and Airbnb.

Question; when searching, are we assuming that all these listing will have it as a 'Plane' in Unique Homes, if I click that filter option? At the moment just narrowing the search to $20, and will try with the Plane filter, and keep refreshing, whilst at the same time begging my family to transfer me spare points.

Thanks!

I don't think you can assume anything

You miss Igloo too, among others.

So I've just checked the London to Sydney one again... And located these dates in May again. However the only ones I can select are later in May, and there is no price attached to them. It does let me select and submit them for request but I haven't gone any further as I don't need them...
If I try to select the $20 ones it wont let me, as per the second photo.

Does anyone have any idea why this is? I'm just wondering in case I do find one that I want
And does that mean that the first few days in May are available again? I'm totally confused by it all!

What is the link to this? I can try to figure it out :)

OK so I can only find it in the actual app (can't copy the URL from an app), not on the internet website if that makes sense...
On the website it shows as not available, but in the app it has the same for Sydney, Santiago and Hong Kong as per my pics.

I have all three same under favourites in the app... All refreshed so the app and website should both be showing the same?

What on earth is going on or am I missing something obvious?

I think it's just a glitch in the app. If you view those listings on the website, May 2020 is greyed out as well and you can't select those dates

They're not even the right dates for travel anyway, so if you somehow got through, Qantas probably wouldn't honour it.

if you click the button next to the heart, it’ll give you the option to copy the link

Thanks Qantas, as if this isn't confusing and frustrating enough now I don't know whether to check the app or website!

Must be a glitch in the app because in the app I can select the dates as per screenshot, but if I click on the link I copied from the app and placed on this forum, then they are greyed out... Bugger! I thought they might have become available... Wishful thinking.

Sre you meant to access thesecthrough the app or the website. I havent found sny at all on the website since it started

Neither have I and I have spent more hours trying than I care to admit!

The only reason I have these three in my saved list is because others put the links to them on this forum.. Otherwise I'd never even have found those!

It's more than likely you have not found any due to the thousands of other people that are searching at any given time. My guess would be that you'd need to find a new listing within a minute or so of it being posted by QFF.

More than likely QFF release only enough of these flights to attract media attention. It appears the small handful that have been released so far is adequate for this purpose.

I am also of the impression that there haven't been any listed this weekend from the analysis I have done. Anyone come across anything new?

I could be totally wrong, but I would expect that this little gig is being run by just one staff member, most likely Australia-based, and works office hours. If anyone can confirm that a deal became available outside normal work hours, I would be both surprised and impressed.

I was under the impression based on earlier comments that a few became available yesterday (Saturday) morning but I didn't see them with my own eyes.
