just at a glance, no one from WA has received the offer, I look after 5 accounts and not one of us has received the email.
I need to book flights this week so PLEASE...

None of my family (4 QFF members) received this one. However I did receive one this time last year. :)

Just went WP for the first time. Haven't seen a thing.

Well done on WP, you might have a wait a while - I've been either WP or WP+ for 6 years & only just received my very first DSC offer.

Try CNS for 300 SC round trip

Having done one of these I have to say the starting time for the return flight is a shocker! Think Min of 1.30hrs prior to takeoff + travel time from hotel + 2 hours from your normal time zone...then add back to work the next day:shock:

Qualified WP first time in March, status reassessment 30APR, and I received offer last week. No reason I can see since I qual'ed but it will give me an early boost in May, June, August to requal.

or even... WP+, WP1? I can see how they hook you!

There is an option that does not involve the 6AM.

The award gods were not granting me that favour when I needed to travel. If I needed the SC.......Yes, I would do it again:shock:

I too received the double status offer but I have already obtained WP for my qualification year ending in July. I however have a business trip in August, if was to fly from PER to SIN via SYD or MEL, would the PER-SYD/MEL leg be considered a domestic leg of an international flight? ie eligible for double SC's in August?

In the past it has provided the flights are on the same PNR and no stop overs

Red Roo address this question:

Domestic segments of International flights in August
– Double Status credits will be awarded on a segment basis, so if you travel on an International flight number (QF1 – 399) which incorporates a domestic segment in August (provided the booking, rego and other criteria are met), you will earn double Status credits. All other domestic segments in August will earn at the normal level.
Only travel segments commenced during the promotion period will earn double Status credits. So, if your return trip is outside of the travel dates that will earn at the normal rate.

No :(

I asked Red Roo this earlier in the thread. Didn't get the answer I had expected/hoped for.

the domestic leg of an international flight must be on qf 1-399 according to red Roos post.. any other domestic flight, whether or not connecting to an international flight, with or without stopover, will not count for double scs in august.

so for example flying on the qf8 bne-syd seems to qualify.

flying on the qf 8 DFW-BNE followed by an immediate connection to PER on a qf400 and above, the domestic sector will not count.

Excited to receive this email for the first time, however I am living in Canada for 12 months!! Is someone able to help out with a couple of questions?
1. If I book an american or alaskan airlines flight (Have trips that need to be booked coming up) to the US, can I get the flight numbers changed to a QF number?2. How does one find out if there is a codeshare number?
3. Would it then count for the double SC offer?
Thank you for your help

Why would it not count?

Red Roo's answer refers to domestic legs of international flights eg QF81.

It does not refer to domestic "connections" to/from international flights.

I guess it comes down to how you interpret the "All other domestic segments" part of the answer.
