SWMBO got this too. Keep on using that algorithm QF, the more you target the one of us not making the travel decisions the more goes to VA instead, thanks to their smarter one. :/

Just just received this email as well, and it's only for new bookings.....what a shame have just booked pe return to the usa plus 4 internal flights on aa, Booked just on 30th march flying 13-23 April, I worked out 280 credits would have been nice if it was double, might have helped me get to platinum for the first time.

Shame I'm moving the balance of my travel year to virgin to re qualify for gold there....since they also provided me with a double sc offer as well.

Good stuff - I got the offer and just as I was getting sick of Virgin too!. I guess the old Qantas computer noticed that I have not flown with them lately. They must want me back

Has anyone ever gotten double status when the flights were booked before the promo period?

Last offer of double SC in 2009 had booked AONE prior NO SC bonus.

Been waiting for the offer since 2009, so am a very happy girl having received the offer - nearly booked AONE yesterday if all goes well looking at life gold end 2012 early 2013

Am a little sad for already booked two return BNE - SYD - AKL end April (Bossreggie lunch) and end May - NO double SC

0 SC since October SWMBO received the offer - I did not ...

Since I am currently looking to book travel for November and March with my travel sorted up to then, I doubt I could have used it anyway.

I was planning on dropping from QF Gold back to QC.
Need 290 SC's to retain Gold, might go for a SC run...

I did not get the email (I haven't registered to receive promotional emails.) but I clicked on the link on the first thread (the word REGISTER in blue) and it took me to the page and said that I was registered.

I was logged into the QF website at the time.

I got one too!

My SC year starts in May with a planned but unbooked LOTFAP trip in June/July!! Yay! Requalify for WP in one trip.

I am about to book a truckload of travel for work - mainly to SYD though - this means I will be able to re-qual for play by July again!!!

Did you miss the bottom of the email explaining what qualifies:

An eligible flight for the purposes of this promotion means any flight with a QF flight number on the ticket where Status credits are normally earned. Status credits may not be earned on some fare types and booking classes including Classic Award flights and Qantas codeshare flights (i.e. with a QF flight number on the ticket) operated by Jetstar or Jetstar Asia other than in Economy booking classes Y, B, H, K, and L (when booked as part of a oneworld fare). Qantas Segments booked in X, U, Z or P classes are eligible to earn Points and Status credits only when booked as part of a Qantas & Jetstar Any Seat Award. For details visit qantas.com
